Starro-maggaro Distract me from my despair over drawing simplistic blobs with story time, I beg you.

Last week's episode on, 'Story Time with Starry' featured Starry losing half her toenail in the middle of the night. On this week's show, a recounting of a recent tale is in order. Without further ado: I present you, Starry's Stories V2: So. Heh. We drive some forty five minutes to the nearest resort, park, carry our skis, poles and boots to the mountain, renew our pass, etc. My dad stays behind while my twin brother and I hop on the nearest lift. We were pretty confident in our skiing abilities- we've been on the slopes since we were four, and we were taught by our dad who used to race in his college years. Plus, this is east coast skiing - an east coast black is a west coast blue. So, we warmed ourselves up, then made our way to the double black. It wasn't awful; steep, just really icy, lumpy snow and pretty decent sized moguls (rounded lumps of snow that force precise turns). We aren't taking about the west coast chutes or whatever, nah. This would just be a fun little challenge. I wait for the snowboarders to go first; I don't trust them behind me (prone to running me over, as they had little experience), so I waited. When there was only one skier left that didn't look like he'd leave any time soon, I went off the edge. I was doing alright, then sitting skier gets up, and follows. what does he do? Loses control, slips, falls, takes out my skis from under me. First thing I don is jam my poles into the ground and brace to avoid plummeting down the mountain. He doesn't think to stop himself, screams, continues down. At this point, my skis were crossed in a really stressed, bordering painful position. I get my boot out of my skis so that if I do lose my grip on my poles and slide down, I won't break a leg. The guy falling down the slope doesn't. Luckily, his skis disengaged, and he eventually slows to a stop on the flat part. I very ungracefully, and probably over cautiously get up, managed to get my boot back in my ski, grab his skis, throw them over my shoulder and bring them down to him, then select a very easy green run to do next. My brother was laughing from the bottom the entire time. It was low key terrifying. And that concludes story time with Starry :)

Starro-maggaro Nice story, very interesting. I like the start where you introduce it xD . The story also reminded me how I have no idea how to ski

Starro-maggaro iT dOeS hAvE sNoW, eXcEpT iT's SuMmEr . I've seen the snow twice, actually. And apparently it sometimes snows three hours away from me, on some mountains. I learnt that last week, very exciting. I wish there was a lot more snow though ;-;
