Whats MCU?

Marvel Cinematic Universe. They make movies based off the Marvel Comics, and every series is connected in one way or another. Like, The Avengers and Antman and Guardians and all that. All of the movies were leading up to the same thing, Infinity Wars/Endgame.

The connected universe is a positive. We shall have such a fun time with the complicated lore. And by we I mostly me. Because I'll be the one dealing with most of it. Yay. Now I just gotta get Project Body up and running and finish See the Other Side so that it can get posted on the forums, haha.

You guys are really good at lore stuff, anyway I could get some advice on one I'm working on?

Soooo, it's one i've been thinking about for about a year. It's a witch story but IDK how to get it away from generic anime-ish fantasy genre

Okay well you have to options: one, don't deny the roots but instead embrace it (go full blown generic anime-ish fantasy game BUT with a twist or make it more of a parody), or two, find what you consider to be "tangeables" in your story (things you cannot go without and are built into your world) and expand and add on from there (like say you know you want people with magic, then think about how they harness it, how they travel, the drawbacks, the magic law enforcement, and maybe even the economy with magic based items).
