Gah, I hate the political teachers. Politics don't belong in school! Well, for the most part, so I'm going to amend my statement to 'Politics don't belong in the hard science classes'. It's fine to talk about politics in relevant classes like History, Government, or maybe Psych if you stretched it. But Biology? No. And trying to push political agendas on students is just terrible! Especially on the younger ones who can't form their own opinions. My elementary apparently had one like that a while back, who'd just preach about his beliefs, both religious and political, to a bunch of second-graders like it was fact. |
