Okay well, if you decide to come out to them, please try to avoid doing it in an argument. That could associate that negative energy with you being apart of the LGBTQA+ community. If you can, bring a support system with you or a group of friends who you trust incase things ever go South. |

I will, I have some close friends that I know have my back, one of which is also a part of the community. I plan to come out to my family just before I move out (if at all) to avoid conflict as much as possible. I'm mostly just scared because my whole family is religious and everything. I don't know that they'd kick me out, but they would try to tell me I wasn't really, or 'it's just a phase.' It hurts because my parents are always talking about treating evryone the same, they even have one or two LGBTQ+ friends, but as soon as it's me something changes. I've experimented with conversations and it never ends well. My family friends that I was talking about though, they're total karens about it. All the 'it's wrong' and 'it's a sin' and stuff. It threw me off so much because of known them since I was a baby. My little brother is really suportive, so that's nice. I'm not out to him yey either, but I honestly think he knows. Anyway, sorry for ranting, I guess everything's just kind of comming out. I can only really talk about this with my friends and it's been a while since I last saw them, plus I can't text about it because my parents sometimes check my phone. |

Hey don't worry about it. If you're parents truly love you, like how you have described your relationship previously, then I have no doubt they will accept you. If you still are nervous, talk to your brother about it. I have no idea how much younger he is, but make it clear before the conversation that this will be an adult conversation. If everything goes smoothly there, try to repeat with your parents. If you feel uncomfortable, then don't. Sometimes, you do need to be the one to start that conversation, but if you feel worried they won't accept you, just wait for a little and think of the best approach. Please don't be afraid to vent! I am not the best with this, but I will help you the best I can!! |

Thank you, I might try that in a year or two with my brother, he's 12, so I don't want to put a lot of pressure on him, but we'll see. |

Cal would probably go as something really cheesy and try to convince Axel and Aries to do something from a movie with him. That or try to get the whole gang to dress as Voltron, Power Rangers, or something like that. |

Hmmm, well, Axel would just join Cal so they could gang up on Aries. Maybe they could be a sandwich or something.... An actual cheese sandwich so it would literally be cheesy XD Ethan would do whatever TJ or the group wanted because why not, and Leroy would just casually pull Nabih to the side with a 'we're the parents, we don't have to dress up' excuse while watching chaos unfold and plotting to take Cal and TJ's candy away so they can maintain the microscopic level of calm they may currently posses. |
