So, my family has "allergies" and I'd been exposed to Covid last Sunday. So, I have to quarantine, right? But I feel fine, everything's AWESOME.

Then, on Saturday I wake up with a sore throat and Dad has the WONDERFUL idea that I need to go outside. So, I go. Sunday comes, I'm still fine. This morning, I woke up with a runny nose and the remnants of that amazing sore throat... BUT I was cold, so I chalked it up to that. Apparently, I was wrong. I've been sniffling all day, my right eye hurts, and so do both my legs. >~>

I'm still denying any sense of sickness. Maybe, if I think I feel okay, then I will feel okay? The whole mind over matter thing, right? Anyway, I also have a Zoom meeting tomorrow. And I've never used Zoom before. This week's just WoNdErFuL. >.<

in Germany the COVID tests are always under 24 hours, no matter who you are or if you got the quick test or not. I think. May have changed since I got mine done.

I have an a acquaintance who works in a health department and they say that even the people who had no or very few symptoms of COVID still get lasting or permanent damage to their lungs- so ah- please just don't be sick Onyx XD

I was exaggerating aha - it was probably more like ten if I'm being honest :') It was a creative writing thing, and I realized that we needed progress drafts or something and I messed up so bad on a certain criteria that I needed to somewhat re-write and incorperate more stuff those ten pages and it was midnight or something and it was not fun. My English teacher was super sweet about it, though. She ended up giving me the grade because I was so distraught and it was past midnight.

And yeah.

Yeah, that's the second year of middle school.

And the tests do take a while. Welcome to the U.S., where the country is so screwed it's not even funny! And bonus, every single state has qualified for a state emergency in the past few months. And then Cali and the west coast is just being torched, and the east coast is being drowned and who the heck knows what is happening in the middle.

So far, I think I can work Zoom. It doesn't seem to be THAT different from Skype. Thanks for the offer of help, though. :3

Like I said, I'm still denying the fact that everyone thinks I'm sick. I've got a sinus-pressure-headache-thingy that's been bugging my right eye since yesterday, BUT I've been outside for the past 3 days, so I'm going with allergies. X3

What was being at school like? We're going to be on campus for the fist time soon (we will have a hybrid schedule). It's pretty much gonna be one way hallways, no standing and socializing, eating lunch in classrooms that is delivered, masks, everything six feet apart, etc. and a heck of a lot of portable classrooms for distancing. But I'm excited to see friends, even from a distance.

Yeah, soon is pretty simple ^^ But if you need any hacks anytime you're just sick of class, I gotcha :') (for example, if your video is required to be on, smear chaptstick on your camera so it's too blurry for everyone to see you flop on the floor and take a nap, and you can just blame it on wifi)
