I just got back from a doctor/medical appointment too ^^ Except it was a psychiatrist and she said I needed 6-12 months of therapy :/

And I just learned I need contacts! So I need to find time for an appointment -

how long have you had glasses/contacts?

Last year in late April I got my first prescription, so I've been wearing glasses a little over a year now. Thas'll be my first time wearing contacts when they arrive.

Are you nearsighted or far sighted? And I figure contacts are much easier and more convenient, especially if you're active.

I'm nearsighted. Anything further than... four/five feet is a blur when it comes to letters, and the size makes a big difference. If I really want to see details it needs to be two feet or closer.
Let's just say my smaller than average eyes (irises) aren't good XD

I didn't know that irises could be different sizes. WhAt? o.O

I wear glasses... the thought of my finger getting that close to my own eye just... *shivers at the thought* blegh. <.> XD
