Grandparen'ts are tiresome too-

We just had to take our cats out of my grandmothers basement because she was causing stress and just being bleh-

Which one was causing stress? The cats or your Grandmother?

The grandmother- its a long story.

I'm writing a sign-up sheet, and the creative part of my brain just took a vacation. No story is too long!


You once read a book for a week straight. I don't think you have a good impression of when a story is too long.

Its a long story about my grandmother going demence and my aunt hating my mother and controlling my grandmother and my grandmother blaming my mother for this-

The big problem is my grandmothers Will. If she were to die tomorrow in her sleep, everything would be fine; but if she would need care, like if she became too demence (Which I'm pretty sure will happen) my mom looses all her rights to do anything.
Its written down that my aunt will take care of my grandmother (my aunt hates my grandmother and only cares about money) and can sell the house and do ANYTHING she wants. Doesn't have to talk to my mother about it or anything, because my grandmother put my Aunt, Uncle (who isn't even related and is also an asshole) and Cousin on the will, but not my mother.
She said that it was because my mother was in America, and a couple days ago, said that now that she was back, she'd happily change it.
My aunt doesn't want it to be changed so now my grandmother doesn't want it to be changed either.
Another problem is that if my grandmother would need care she would go to my aunt, and my aunt would force her to pay rent, and by force my grandmother, I mean force my mother to pay for something she has absolute no control or say in whatsoever. My aunt could decide to make the rent 10,000 Euro and my mom couldn't say no and would have to pay it. HAVE TO.
Just pisses me off that my family is so shitty. My aunt only wants money, my cousins have forgotten that I exist because their mother said so and my grandmother is a pushover that just can't think for herself.
And yes, she is going demence; but right now the doctor says its still mild and she doesn't need any help, and she can still think enough to try and couple me up with every neighbor who has a son close to my age because why not. She also tried to couple up one of my friends with my brother even though she has a boyfriend.

Sorry for ranting- but- my family is just pissing me off.

No offense, but I'm pretty sure if I lived with your Aunt and Grandmother, I'd nuke the house out of frustration.

But if your Aunt does do something crazy, I'd say just leave. How you haven't already bombed the house is beyond me.

Yeah. We've just taken the cats and, honestly, there wasn't much love lost between me and my grandmother, she never wanted to visit us in America, which with her age (84) I can understand that a bit, but she just never was a great person in general. From what my mother told me my grandmother was abusive; my mom had it a little easier than my aunt which my mom thinks is the reason my aunt hates her and my grandmother and just really wants the money and house. Its just- frustrating. My moms been trying for twelve years now to make this all good, since it all went to shit after my grandfather died, and, well, its just too much now. If my grandmother and aunt are willing to talk and call us again then they can, but we wont be calling them.
One thing I hate, is that legally, my mom will have to pay "half" the rent and "half" the medical bills, no matter what. My aunt sure as hell won't let my grandmother change it to make my mother not have to pay. My mom doesn't really have a big problem with this, since obviously my aunt wont make it 10,000 Euro, but I think, since we're pretty much kicked out of the family then we don't have to invest money into it. I guess that sounds mean but I don't care. I'm just fed up with this.
