Verner isn't a German word... Its a simple first name that can mean shield or preserver...
Also Grimm- ah- I've been trying to keep this in for literally months now, but since I'm already dooming you guys-
Hoffen isn't hope in German either XD
So if you were to say "I hope I win tomorrow"
In German it would be "Ich hoffe dass ich morgen gewinne"
saying "Ich hoffen dass ich morgen gewinne" is just grammatically wrong and Google Translate failed you.
Hoffen does mean Hoping though-
Hoffnung is another version of Hope- but you can't use it in the sentence above either because German be complicated-
