Nothing? XD the saddle was the only saddle that fit Carrot- the first horse that I really rode and trained (not really training, just groundwork to build up relationship and get him out of his four year break) My mom has a barepack western type saddle though.

I try not do- Western saddles just don't sit well with me and I hate the sturrups. English saddles are really my preference, though I found a good saddle in a store in Germany a white back- Has the shape and sturrups of an english saddle and a grip in the front which I like-

Yeah, western isn't my thing either ^^ (then again, the most I've done in a western saddle is gone for a canter around the arena, so I suppose I really can't tell) Oh, that's cool! I don't think I've ever heard of a saddle like that ^^ I used to go to this really awesome saddlery in MD, run by two old ladies in an old farmhouse, but it ended up closing, eh >.<

congrats on the saddle!!! I love horses but it's been a hot second since I've ridden, and I only really know how to ride in a western saddle lmao bc where i live we have the wILD wEsT

English and western are like two whole different worlds aha Jumping is so awesome! Literally just flying over fences on a thousand pound animal. Definitely see if you can look into it ^^
