Please do. I'm going to strangle him either way. It's just - none of us understand, because it just wasn't how he was raised, not is it the community he lives in.

He does have anxiety disorder (as in, genetically born with it), as well as what we believe to be a mild form of autism. As we were twins, and were over six weeks premature, doctors think his brain didn't develop completely, and he can't read expressions as a result, which means he can't figure out when what he says isn't funny to others. But he still deserves a throttling.

Exactly; still deserves a throttling.

I'd throttle him myself if I could- don't want to be rude- but he sounds very much like an ass. Even if its something mental.

Doom He is. Goodness knows how my parents managed to be so patient with him to the extent in which they are. But my dad will snap at him at least once a week for saying something like that, and it's not fun to sit through. Then my Mother will get mad, and when she gets mad, it's terrifying. Then there's just chaos all around, but he still does not get it, and keeps arguing because he can't hear tone of voice or read facial expression. He literally just doesn't understand how his being racist, or sexist, or homophobic. He literally just doesn't get it.

That really doesn't sound fun- my brother likes to make jokes about stuff like that, but he makes sure we know they're jokes and we know he doesn't mean it, but sometimes they tick me and my parents off regardless... but that's definitly not the same. Hope he learns sometime...
