Doom Aha, honestly, I'm making a bigger deal about it. It's only a five minute speech, so it's not like I have to stand up there for an hour or something. My worst issue is usually speaking a bit too quickly, but nothing too bad, so I guess I'll be already. Mainly because there's a few very quiet people in our class that are impossible to hear when they present.

Niece You can do it, though. Just write the speech on your arms, lmao. . Son Y'know- People always tell me that. :,) I've been thinking about starting a free drawing thread to help develop my own style. Edited at April 24, 2020 02:31 PM by e m p t y.

Uncle If you open a shop, imma be the first in line - . Also, we have to wear our formal uniform for our Zoom presentation. Which makes sense, but I still don't want to deal with an oxford shirt, blazer, khaki skort, sperries, white socks, etc.

I actually don't mind our regular uniform at all. It's just a polo, khaki skort, and neutral colored tennis shoes. The outwear has to be from the school store, which kinda sucks, but eh. That changes next year anyway. It's way easier than choosing what cloths to wear everyday.

Skort? is that like a short skirt or something? bleh- I'd throw every single skirt into a black hole if I could.

Oh, you know what Corona made us skip? Memorial Day Assembly. It's a beautiful and solemn and important assembly and whatnot, but the entire school has to gather around Memorial Court and suffer in the ninety degree heat in our navy blue blazers, and the boys with khakis. (The boys always have to wear khakis. ha.) At least two kids faint per year because they lock their knees. (My school was a military school a while back, so the ceremony is a pretty big deal for us). But the heat.

No, haha. It's a skirt with shorts underneath. They go down to a little above our knees. I'm definitely not a fan of skirts in general, but you can be more athletic in skorts. I've gotten used to them. And anyway, I don't want to wear khakis in spring or fall, lest I want to die of overheating. so.
