Also- don't you guys love it when your lips are so dry that the skin starts falling off and bleeding?

Not gonna lie, I had an embarrassing moment with my first crush, haha. (I'm NOT putting it in that thread; I trust you guys more. XP)

I had something to show him (this was at my church, mind you, so I was in a dress and heels) and we had to go downstairs where my friend was waiting to reveal it to him. And my heels... made me trip going down the stairs; I was right in front of him too. XD

He just said he didn't see anything. XD

Of course, this was a few years ago, and he's married now, but still. 0.0 XD

I pick it before it falls off.... but (sarcastically, because Sarcasm ALWAYS beats me) YES. YES, I do. XD

picking pulls off too much skin and makes it bleed more- I've had dry lip and lip rash problems since I was three- I have experience XD

I have two awkward stories but I don't want to share on that thread XD

You're talking to someone who deals with this problem almost daily, because she hates water with a PASSION. >.< XD

But I've also diagnosed myself with dermatophagia. So, I almost always have lip issues. XD

I don't like it when people diagnose themselves...

I don't like it, either, but it beats going to the doctor. >.>

Especially when you've got all the symptoms, so the doc. is just going to tell you what you already know. >.<

But going to a doctor is better.

When I moved to AZ my lips started getting cracked and dry, and as I got older it got worse and worse, I got a lot of puss just leaking out and sometimes it was so much that I found some dried puss on my pillows when I woke up. My lips also turned red and the skin around it too. I had a big red circle around my mouth sometimes spreading to my cheeks. They also bled when they got really dry. And burned. A lot. And they felt swollen.
After maybe five years of it leaving and comming back and us trying different creams my parents decided to take me to an allergy doctor to test if it was allergies. Nope. I have like a .9% banana and .11 (It was very low- don't remember the exact percentages) peanut allergy but that's just about it. There wasn't a good dermatologist anywhere near where we lived, so we went to the family doctor and she prescribed a cortisone cream that we couldn't get because it needed a prescription and since then my lips havn't gotten any puss, swelling or redness, but they still get really dry and cracked maybe once a month.
