Drawing Hair from References
Reference image is some random photo off Pinterest. I do not own the image. Open the image in a new tab to see it better

When you're unsure how to draw something.. Use references! No, it's not a sin. When you try something new or out of your comfort zone, it's because you don't have enough practice to be comfortable with it yet.

In this tutorial, I used some pretty basic things anyone can do to enhance your final image. These include taking an extra 5-10 minutes to darken your lineart and simply airbrushing a darker color along the edges of the hair and using the skin tone for the front of the hair. This gives the hair a softer/fluffier feel to it.
It's also important to note that if you're referencing hair for cosplays (like here), cosplay hair tends to have really long bangs so the cosplayer can cut them and personalize the wig to their face. When you reference cosplayer wigs, make sure the bangs aren't too long!
