Free shops do but I wish art shops got a bit more notice, as I'm an artist myself.

Agree. I've noticed you'll exceed 5 pages from a free art shop rather than one you put effort and time in. ;/ Sad really.

I don't have the energy to make something for free unless it's for a friend, so I don't make free shops. I haven't made an auction yet but I might in the future. And also if you spend all your mush on wolf party you need to get mush somehow.

Obviously free shit is always going to get more attention, they're usually quick and easy to post on [half the time people just read the title and not the post itself 😭]

The next best bet in my experience are art auctions. What sells the best in auctions always fluctuates, currently commission auctions are selling better than YCH or design auctions.
Design auctions aren't doing well at all - I guess people aren't looking for new OCs on WP at the moment?

Collabs are also pretty hit and miss, it depends, really!

Strange beloved. If you want publicity. I recommend a free art shop. Half way in close it and open a commission auction, you'll gain more of an up footing that way. You're doing great! 👌🏾

Obviously free, but I think auctions get more attention partly because it's hard to tell when someone is open for commissions in art shops. People don't always edit things and you have to wait for them to be open again.
