The Windrider

The Windrider is one of the most advanced of its kind. It is a skyship, meaning it can soar through the skies and float on the ocean. Originally, it was purchased by a merchant, but, through decades of use, upgrading, and passing through different hands, it has become a recognizable name with questionable meaning. The crew of the Windrunner most often determines its status, and the crew is almost always a group of ragtag misfit adventurers who bring with them a series of random and often disconnected skills which vary wildly between individuals.

The ship is not massive, but it is more than large enough to accommodate its crew. There are separate bedrooms and washrooms for the captain, first mate, the mages, the engineers, and the other crew members, including the cook. These are nicer than the standard ship, with actual bunked beds rather than hammocks. Despite this, though, the crew members do not have much privacy, given that their bedrooms and washrooms are shared.

There are three levels to the ship, with the bottom being the holding cells and the engine room. The ship is powered by a mix of magic and technology, powered by the mages and maintained by the engineers of the ship. The second level includes the bunkrooms for the lower-ranking crewmembers and the storage for weaponry. The first level has the captain and first mate’s quarters, food storage, and a general meeting and leisure area, which includes various card and dice games and a small collection of books at the insistence of a few of the mages on-board. The top level, the main deck, looks much like that of a standard ship, with three cannons on each side of the ship, and large sails stood atop it.

The upper part of the ship is as expected, with a large wheel in the center of the platform in the back. Beneath it is a meeting area, with navigation tools and anything else anyone might need to control their course and plan their next moves. The only unique things about the exterior of the ship are the two sets of large wings that adorn either side, and the lanterns placed in various areas around the ship which burn with a heatless and sourceless pale blue light within.

It is not fully known to most why over half of the Windrunner crew suddenly disappeared, and anyone who isn't an old crew member will likely not know. Prior to the disappearance of much of the crew, they fell into the category primarily of mercenaries, but the loss of so many people has allowed the crew to rebrand itself, and now, they can be just about anything they choose to be.

The crew of the Windrider is generally a quite diverse group of people. They come from all over the world, bringing with them a variety of skills and capabilities. The ship has a fairly neutral reputation despite having been around for several years, as, depending on its crew makeup and the particular whims of the time, they have been everything from pirates to mercenaries to heroes. Where they go now is up to the crew.

The World of Pria

The world of this RP is a mix of fantasy and magic punk (steampunk but magically powered). Floating cities are not uncommon for wealthy areas, and, in the south sea, there is an entire kingdom in the sky. We will be starting in the central area of the map, in a skycity called Alais, floating just off the border of the kingdom of Velia. It is a beautiful, towering city, and a very common meeting place for the crews of skyships. Anyone who wished to join up with the crew would likely have been found in Alais, regardless of where they originate. Alais and the kingdom it belongs to, Velia, are in roughly the dead center of the map. To the north is a series of frozen desert kingdoms which are near-constantly at war. West of there is a mountain range that stretches all the way out to the ocean and very few cities can be found there. It is an area that few people visit, and rumor has it the region is full of horrific monsters. South of Alais, where it begins to grow cold again, are many island kingdoms, which tend to have consistent trade amongst one another. West of Alais is another continent of kingdoms, primarily rainforests, which shift from tropical to deciduous as it goes south. In this region is where most mages study, as these kingdoms tend to be the most accepting of and knowledgeable about magic. East of Alais is a continent primarily of savannah and desert, a region which has some of the most advanced technology in the world.

In general, the world is fairly accepting of most sorts of people. LGBTQ+ individuals are considered normal parts of most societies in the world, and, though some folks will catch glances in certain parts of the world, such as Merfolk in landlocked areas, Elves and Fairies in urban regions, and Vikaari, well, anywhere. However, certain parts of the world hold a dislike for those who study magic. According to some faiths, practitioners of magic are seen as heretics. In these regions, particularly the central north, it is forbidden to practice any use of magic or magictech. While the crew of the Windrider has a reputation for being quite dauntless, it is highly recommended by the captain and any experienced crew members that the mages and the engineers stay below decks and keep a low profile any time they are in this region. That said, due to the very obvious use of magictech in the literal flying ship, they don’t frequent this area in the slightest. There is very little to be gained from seeking out work in a region that would rather set fire to your ship than ask for your aid.

Magic

Mages are valuable, skilled, and intelligent individuals who have studied the arcane arts in-depth. While magic is not inherent, it is possible for one to be born with a talent for the art, and everyone’s magic takes on a different “look”, often one that relates to their personality. For example, a hot-headed, adventurous, and fierce caster may have their magic appear fiery in nature. Engineers deal in magic, but they cannot cast. Their magic is more like enchanting or imbuing an object with power to make it move or activate an ability. Their magic is the one exception to the rule about mages’ power relating to their identity. Magic for casters is primarily spell-based, and I will be fairly loose on what that entails, so I expect mages in this RP not to go overboard with what they can do. No insta-killing, solving major world problems, making someone immortal, bringing back the dead, or otherwise overpowered abilities. I want to enable creativity but I will impose limits on magic if it is abused. Don’t make me.

If a mage is restrained or unable to speak, they cannot cast. A mage cannot manipulate an object they cannot see. Casting requires movement and spoken words, typically said at a high volume and in a commanding tone, though simpler spells can be commanded at a whisper by a skilled mage. Casting is easiest through a tool, but it is still doable without one. Additionally, mages cannot cast without imparting their own energy on the spell. Should a mage reach their limit, they will fall unconscious, and if this is done too frequently, a mage can contract what is referred to as ‘Star Sickness’, which can be fatal if not treated quickly and properly. Those who survive the Star Sickness are forever marked by it, with markings that often resemble astral bodies, hence the name.

The Star Sickness

The Star Sickness is an illness contracted by mages who push themselves into magical fatigue too frequently. It is not contagious, but those who contract it often find themselves avoided to some extent by mages who fear the disease. The sickness’s name comes from the markings it leaves behind on survivors; usually resembling astral bodies. It is not well understood by many non-magic-users, but to those who are aware of what it is, they deeply fear contracting the illness.

Species

This world is home to many humanoid species, from the mostly human to the wildly unusual and fascinating. Humans do exist in this world, of course, but, because we all know what a human is (hopefully), they will not be treated to a description of what they are. Humans are the most populous species in the world, and their cultures are incredibly varied. They can be found in every city, every kingdom, every place in the world. This will almost certainly be added to later on as I or others come up with more cool ideas for things that can exist here. Also, none of the cultural norms stated here are hard and fast rules, as obviously not everyone fits with their culture.

Vikaari

5-6 feet in height, skin in any non-human color, black, white, or colorful hair, blue, red, gold, or silver eyes, no aging past adulthood

Often called Dragon Kin, Vikaari are rather unusual looking creatures, with a number of unique traits, one of which is eyes like a cat’s, in that they reflect light and have similarly functioning pupils; slitted when there is much light present, only to dilate and expand to round out and take up much of the eye when in darkness. Another is their tails, either scaly or skin, and usually about as long as they are tall. Usually the tails end in either a point, or a heart or spade shape.

In addition to this, they all have horns, usually large and curled like a ram’s or a gazelle’s, and almost always sharp. Some Vikaari will file them down to be smaller or less sharp, but many see this as a rejection of their species. An uncommon but not unheard of mutation of this is the horns looking more like a deer’s antlers. These horns never stop growing, and will need to be maintained and groomed throughout a Vikaari’s lifetime, somewhat like hair. It is not uncommon for Vikaari to decorate their horns in a variety of ways, with bracelets or necklaces wrapped around them. Some will even pierce their horns regularly.

The final trait they are known to share is strong, sharp teeth. Their canines are much longer and sharper than a human’s, and the first and second teeth after are also larger and sharper than normal. Unsurprisingly, Vikaari are a primarily carnivorous species.

Vikaari are not known to age, though they can be killed as easily as a human can, by illness, poison, or a blade. Due to their lengthy lifespans, Vikaari children are incredibly rare, and it is believed by some that a Vikaari can only be born if another has died. Whether or not this is true is unknown, but on the rare occasions Vikaari meet others of their kind, particularly of a similar age, it is a cultural norm among them to be very kind and welcoming to one another. They tend to stick together when they find others, but due to their uncommonness, they are usually seen alone.

Ilomin

5.5-7 feet in height, hair and skin in human colors, gold eyes, no aging past adulthood

At first glance, Ilomin seem mostly human. But, should one look closely at them, they would notice a few key differences. Firstly, they’re taller than most humans are on average, with a somewhat intimidating figure that catches the eye. Their eyes are another immediate catch, being a bright, intense gold color that almost glows in the dark. Other than this, they appear human, and this fact has been the source of much folklore and thought from fascinated humans. Many historical figures have been theorized to be or outright retconned into being Ilomin, due to the human fascination with them. It is believed by multiple cultures that Ilomin are born destined for greatness, and, because they are similar to other non-aging folk in that their birthrates are incredibly low, they are quite rare.

Riamok

5.5-7 feet in height, gemstone colored skin, hair, & eyes, no aging past adulthood

The stone men, the gem folk, Riamok are a beautiful and unique sort. They are mostly humanoid, save for skin in pitch black or jewel tones, inlaid with natural growths of metals and precious gems. These gems often grow from their shoulders, brows, cheekbones, or around some joints like the outer elbows and kneecaps. Their eyes are often a similar color to their gemstones, usually shifting in brightness depending on lighting or their mood, and always having a glimmering fractal effect like when light refracts off of a real gem. Their hair is usually a similar hue to their gem color, but can sometimes be an entirely different color.

Riamok usually inherit their gem type from one parent if the parents have differing types, but in extremely rare cases, they can be born with multiple gems growing from their skin. These individuals also often have multicolored eyes or hair. In their culture, this is considered a beautifully unique trait, and it is one that is highly coveted as an ideal form of beauty.

Due to their gemstone skin, Riamok are extremely durable, and make excellent warriors, particularly when their natural strength is augmented with certain types of armor. They are often taller than most humans, but tend to be quite slender and graceful. While they are not easy to hurt with weapons, they can be harmed just as easily by illness or poison as anyone else.

Riamok culture is very community centered, and they are very close-knit amongst themselves. Their “love language”, so to speak, is food, and Riamoki food is known to be some of the best in the world. While they may make incredible warriors, they are not inherently violent people, most often preferring to use diplomacy in any disputes.

Alaiah

7-8 feet in height, silver, white, or pale blue or green skin, white hair, silver eyes, ~100 year lifespan

Alaiah are incredibly tall people with skin in pale, unnatural colors, covered in markings that glow faintly in darkness, swirling along their bodies like graceful, abstract lines that glow in pale colors of blue or green. Due to originating from an underground society, they have rather large eyes adapted to low light, and do not do well in direct sunlight. They have very long limbs, which can sway from graceful to awkward depending on the individual. They often have pointed ears and small features other than the large eyes.

Like most creatures, the markings that span across Alaiahs’ skin are inherited genetically, with the markings usually being a mix of the mother’s and father’s. They almost exclusively have white hair, though it is not uncommon for it to have strands of blue, green, or silver naturally occurring in it. Their eyes, however, are always silver.

Culturally, Alaiah are very individualistic, with a deep love of music. Their hearing is very acute due to frequently utilizing it in order to get around in the darkest parts of their underground homes. They are not particularly physically strong due to their very lithe bodies, although they are quite quick. Interestingly enough, Alaiah are fully colorblind.

The Ones You Probably Know

Fairy folk - Little winged men with round faces and mischievous temperaments - 2-3 feet in height, human skin tones, hair & eyes in any color, ~60 year lifespan

Elves - Tall, delicate folk with pointy ears and large, upturned eyes - 6-7 feet in height, ~500 year lifespan, with incredibly slow aging both as children and adults, only reaching physical adulthood at roughly 100 years of age

Merfolk - Fishy people with scales across their bodies and the ability to grow fish tails if they are in water - 5-6 feet in height, human or fishlike skin tones, hair & eyes in human or fish scale colors, ~70 year lifespan

Dwarves - Short, stocky folks who like their mountains and grow glorious beards - 4-5 feet in height, human skin, hair, & eye colors, no aging past adulthood, with a slightly longer adolesence than standard, usually not reaching adulthood until about 30 years

The Crew

The crew of the Windrider is not an exceptionally large one, with only around fifteen to twenty members at any given time.

The Captain

The leader, the frontman, the head bitch in charge. You are the captain. You have likely the most experience of anyone on the ship, you call the shots, you have the respect of the crew, aaaand you’re responsible for the new crew members and their training. Good luck, cap.

As the captain, you have the final say on what is done involving the ship. You may not have full control of the people on it, but you can certainly tell them what you want them to do, and they should listen to you most of the time. Be careful, though. The crew can vote to mutiny and replace you should enough of them decide they dislike your leadership.

1/1 Captain

Vylan Vasserion - 123 - Male - Ilomin - Winter Stars - Page 1

The First Mate

You are the second in command, the person with the most experience on the ship second to the captain. If the captain is out of commission, you are in charge, and you have much of the crew’s respect as well. Should the captain die, retire, or be removed via mutiny you will most likely become the next captain of the ship. You answer directly to the captain and only to them.

The Mages

You’re a scholar, an educated magic user of some variety. Why you joined this crew is up to you, whether it was for the money provided by the life of a sailor and/or pirate, a need to escape from something behind you, or just dreams of adventure, something pulled you away from the plain old life of scholarly pursuits. Your responsibilities on the ship include powering it and helping to protect it in whatever method you deem fit.

Note - Mages are not born with magic, it is always learned

Engineers

You’re clever, you’re techy, but you aren’t a magic user. You prefer to make things with your hands. Your responsibilities on the ship are maintaining its engines, maintaining its weapons, and creating any new items you think might be useful to your crew. The captain has the final sign-off on any ideas to be implemented on the ship, but anything personal or to be sold when you hit land is all yours.

Everybody else. You may not have a specialty yet, but you might be aiming for one. You may just be a standard crew member by choice. Maybe you like being on the frontline of the fights, the front of the adventures, and the kinship with your fellows. Your responsibilities include cooking, cleaning, and any standard jobs maintaining the ship. You also are on the frontlines of battle. You are the true adventurers of the ship, and you may have a variety of skills to fit this role.

Appearance

Sarrali is a very beautiful woman, around five feet, three inches tall, though she carries herself with an air of self-assuredness which makes her appear to be significantly taller. Confidence, grace, and sass exude from her every movement, and she holds herself as such, nearly always having a hand on one hip, a slight smile, and an open posture.

Sarrali has lovely features, with a heart face shape and smooth skin. Her skin is soft and nearly free of blemishes, save for a variety of small scars from various misadventures. She has full, downturned lips, straight white teeth, and a smile that always seems to suggest she knows more than she’ll ever let on. She has a delicate jawline and high cheekbones, which only adds to her stunning appearance.

Framing Sarrali’s face is long, white hair that reaches about halfway down her back. It is quite curly, with long, loose ringlet curls, and tends to be somewhat unruly, which, depending on her luck that particular day, can either look beautiful and stylishly messy, or chaotic, tangled, and generally a disaster. Her hair is very thick and soft, with some natural highlights in silver lowlights in shades of pale gray.

Her eyes are an especially captivating aspect to her appearance. They are large and almond-shaped, upturned and hold a certain cunning and dreaminess, both a look of one who is strikingly intelligent, and of one who is eternally lost in thought. Their color is even more stunning, however; a bright, pale blue that appears reflective and nearly glowing in low light like a cat’s. The pupils are slitted like a cat’s or a reptiles, and the sclera of her eyes, rather than the white of a normal human, are pitch black.

Sarrali’s figure is that of a curvaceous hourglass, with a slightly larger than average bust, quite curvaceous hips, and a smaller waist. As she is a bit on the shorter and heavier side, she has fairly thick thighs and calves, and arms that match the rest of her figure as well. She does, however, have quite graceful hands, with long, elegant fingers and well-shaped and tended to nails, although they are almost always covered in either charcoal or paint, and are, like her teeth, incredibly sharp.

Sarrali’s skin is a deep midnight blue color, flecked with small white freckles that vaguely resemble stars in the night sky. Two pairs of long, elegant horns protrude from her head, curling delicately and pointed behind her. They can be most similarly compared to an addax's horns with how they are shaped, though they are smooth and their texture is more similar to a deer’s antlers. Like some others of her kind, she has a long, scaly, black, prehensile tail. A survivor of the Star Sickness when she was a teen, Sarrali has a marking that covers nearly the entirety of the right side of her face, one which heavily resembles a blue and purple nebula.

Her voice is rather a pleasant one to listen to. It is low, soft, and smooth, with a heavy accent that on earth would be recognized as Spanish. She does not often raise her voice, as she tries to keep her temper from causing her to get too loud, and it usually holds a calm, easy confidence.

Personality

Sarrali is someone who thrives on adventure and new experiences. She struggles to stay in one place for longer than a short period of time and gets extremely restless if she is not kept occupied. Due to this, she is often considered to be a bit of a difficult person to deal with, and finds herself in trouble quite frequently, either because she got bored and did something reckless intentionally, or because she simply has incredibly weak impulse control.

Despite her impulsiveness and constant need to be occupied by something, she is shockingly intelligent. She may lack common sense, but she certainly isn’t lacking for wit and cunning. She learns incredibly quickly, and studies just about anything she can, with a particular preference for reading any books she can get her hands on about magic. She also enjoys creating and solving problems, usually ones that involve her doing stupid things.

Aiding her in her escapades and troublesomeness is her intense creativity. Her ingenuity is frankly impressive, and only adds to the striking and surprising nature of her intellect. When she isn’t causing problems for the people around her, she does have some creative hobbies, such as painting and drawing, hence why she has a layer of paint and charcoal covering her hands and fingers most of the time.

While Sarrali seems on the surface to simply be an adventurous spirit with far too much energy, she does have a hot temper, and will often resort to snark or just yelling at and insulting whatever or whoever has managed to anger her. She tries to keep things light and respond to insults with sass and sarcasm before resorting to genuine anger, but often finds herself losing control of her temper despite her best attempts to maintain it.

Despite an ever-present willingness to socialize with those around her -especially if they bring up something she is interested in-, Sarrali is quite introverted. She significantly prefers being left to herself over socializing, and is often lost in her own head when she doesn’t have to focus on other people. She has been called a daydreamer by many, absentminded scholar by some, and by anyone trying to keep her focused on a task she isn’t interested in, airhead is a common insult.

Confidence is absolutely not something Sarrali is lacking for, with her love of snark and a good verbal battle. ‘Confidence’ may even be an understatement, in fact. Arrogance might be the better term for it. There is almost never a time that Sarrali doesn’t act as though she knows what she’s talking about or doing, and she tends to be quite disobedient as a result. She can’t be expected to carry out an order if she does not see the reason behind it. In her mind, at least.

For all her flaws and problems, Sarrali does have, to her credit, a very loving personality. In spite of her fears of abandonment and commitment, anyone she likes or holds admiration for is given all of her love and care. She can be incredibly supportive and kind, and go almost too far out of her way to show this to friends and loved ones. Sarrali wears her heart on her sleeve, and emotions, both good and bad, are almost always genuine with her.

Skills

Sarrali’s skills include, of course, magic and magical tinkering, as well as art, agility and stealth, and she’s quite good with numbers.

Ineptitudes

Sarrali cannot cook to save her life, is quite physically weak, and tends to have a hard time keeping her mouth shut, often insulting others. She isn’t particularly good at any combat skills, and just about any physical altercation would end with her on the losing end. She also tends to be extremely impulsive, which tends to render her intellect and otherwise useful skills somewhat useless.

Fears

Due to having survived it once, Sarrali is terrified of contracting the Star Sickness again, and afraid that she may not survive it a second time.

Powers

Sarrali is a talented mage, whose abilities, having been affected by the sickness, look quite spacey when used.

Backstory

Instability is perhaps the cornerstone of Sarrali’s life. She bounced from foster home to foster home as a child, after her mother, a young and struggling aspiring scholar at the time of having her, gave her up in hopes of giving her a better life than what she could provide at the time. Such hopes did not quite pan out, as Sarrali found herself rarely staying in one place for longer than a few months, and bounced around foster homes all across the southeastern continent until she was around fifteen. As a young teen, like many do, she believed she could take care of herself and no longer needed the constantly changing guardianship of her caretakers. The intrepid young teen set out on her own, certain that she could take care of herself fully.

She wasn’t entirely wrong, but it is hard to believe that young Sarrali’s plans went the way she had hoped. Within a few months of running away, she found herself stealing to get by. She found herself stealing and she found herself to be damn good at it. She very quickly learned that the highest priced items were those relating to magic. Tomes and magictech sold for far more than simple jewelry and easily pilferable trinkets. So, she took the risks, developed her skills as a thief, and reaped the rewards.

Of course, it was not long before she became interested in what one could do with spell tomes and magictech. So, she began experimenting with them, and discovered a talent for it. This talent only aided further in her escapades, and only made her wealthier. She studied every book she could steal, and took apart many a magic item before she sold them. Her skills progressed quickly, and, as such, so did her confidence.

But, unfortunately for the overconfident young woman, not everything is meant to last. Eventually, something had to give, and something did, shortly before her twentieth birthday, Sarrali’s overconfidence in her abilities bit her back. She got sick, really, really sick. At the time, as an uneducated mage, she knew little about the Star Sickness, but it damn-near killed her. It was only by the grace of a mage traveling on the Windrider that she even survived. The mage healed her and, in her gratitude, Sarrali pledged her loyalty to the ship. While the crew may have changed in the half-decade she has been on board, her loyalty has remained steadfast ever since.

Gender

Male

Sexuality

He’s into anyone with a pretty face to be honest, so, unlabeled

Species

Ilomin

Appearance

With piercing, golden eyes, confidence galore, and a jawline that could cut diamonds, Vylan is quite the stunner. A perpetual smirk, a relaxed way of moving, and an easy charm that flows through his smooth baritone voice like honey make Vy rather attractive to anyone that’s into the roguish sort of men. His skin is a light, sunkissed tan with a slight olive undertone that brings out the color of his striking eyes quite nicely.

Standing at approximately six foot one, with a lean but muscular build, Vy is of roughly average build for an Ilomin man. His broad shoulders and lean, defined arms portray a physical strength that is certainly above average, but perhaps looks more like his strengths should be in the area of agility than muscularity. His hands are strong and slim, with a certain grace and gentleness to it that one might not expect from someone like him. His legs are long and muscular, making up more of his height than the rest of him, though he has rather oversized feet that can make him a little bit on the clumsy side.

Handsome is quite an accurate term for this man, with a diamond face shape, complete with that sharp, defined jawline and chin. Overall, his features can be described as quite Grecian. His lips are full and soft, and he always seems to have a smirk present on his face, his nose is defined and sharp, with a strong bridge and slight downward slope, and his cheekbones are high and quite defined, almost slightly gaunt. His eyes are an almond shape, with the sharp, piercing gold color, framed by thick brown lashes. Above his piercing eyes sit thick, dark brows that have a natural downturned arch and make for some fairly intense eyes.

His hair is thick, shoulder length, and wavy. Often, he has it pulled back into a short ponytail, but when left to himself, he leaves it loose and lets it fall in front of his face. He believes it frames his features quite well, and tends to let it down if he’s around someone he finds attractive. Its color is a deep, warm brown, leaning on auburn.

Personality

Vylan, on the surface, seems like an arrogant bastard, to say the least. Always grinning, always flirting, and always easily working his way through most things. This isn’t entirely untrue, as he is more than a little overconfident, and it is known to bite him in the ass quite a lot. He believes he knows what he’s doing at all times, even when he hasn’t the slightest clue what he actually is doing.

Likes

Travel, adventure, the open sea and sky, making friends

Dislikes

Long-term relationships,

Skills

He’s great with firearms, people, and is a surprisingly good leader. His skills with people also make him fairly good at lying and manipulating.

Ineptitudes

Surprisingly, he’s quite clumsy and terrible at stealth. This makes him fairly weak in close-up combat, and he is also pretty terrible at a lot of life skills such as cooking or fixing things.

Fears

Vy is terrified of losing his ship or the respect of his crew. His fears nearly came true when half of them were killed recently.

Powers

None

Backstory

Born the heir to a wealthy family, Vylan had a pretty perfect setup. Good parents, plenty of education, the respect of everyone around him. But something about that never really made him happy. What made Vy happy was adventure. He got into more than a little trouble growing up, and was being brought home by the constable at least every week by his teen years. His parents tried with everything in them to straighten their son out, but nothing ever seemed to work.

At the age of twenty, Vy stole a great deal of money from his family in order to commission the Windrider. It was one of the first of its kind, and nearly bankrupted his family. But, young, selfish, and determined, Vylan took the banishment from his family, and took the ship when it was finished two years later. He hasn’t looked back in a century and has no plans to.

Over the years, Vylan has been many things. He’s been heroic, villainous, and everything in between. But, most of all, he has always been loyal to his crew. Everyone on the ship has the knowledge of his unwavering faith in them and he will put his life on the line to protect them.

Relationships

Sarrali Amondai - Crew Member/Friend - Alive - 25

Vylan is quite close with Sarrali, having taken a liking to the odd little mage soon after she joined the crew. They became good friends, and have been for quite some time now. He actually went to some lengths to protect her during the incident that resulted in the previous crewmates’ deaths.

Della Vasserion - Mother (Estranged) - Alive - 456

Della has attempted to contact her son in the years since he left, but the two rarely get along.

Keinan Vasserion - Father (Estranged) - Alive - 503

Vylan and Keinan do not speak anymore, and Vy does not like to speak of him.

Raiva Vasserion - Brother (Estranged) - Alive - 45

Vylan has never met Raiva, as the boy was born long after he was disowned.
