Appearance:
Alethea is a relatively large female, not large as
in bulky in stature, but moreso tall. Like...very
tall. Her legs are disproportionately long compared
to the rest of her body, causing her to
appear taller than she actually is. Ale's fur
is short, coarse, and thick. As hyena fur should be.
Her tail is short, her family used to joke about her
legs stealing the length from her tail in the womb.
Her muscles are not bulky, but toned. Ale doesn't
get much heavy lifting in because she never does
any of her own work.
Alethea's rough fur is a pale tan colour, bleached
from the sun of the savannah. Her stripes are almost
two shades darker than the rest of her, standing
out in her wheat shaded pelt. Ale's mane is short.
Very short, the only factor showing you she even has a
mane being its dark colour contrasting her bleached fur.
The only thing darker than her stripes on her
body is her ears. Alethea's ears are such a dark brown
they look basically black. Her nose matches them.
The insides of her ears match the insides of her nostrils,
a rich mauve pink the texture of velvet. Her pawpads
are also this colour. Ale's eyebrows are the same
dark shade as her ears, giving her the ability to
show more expression than she should be able to, and
boy does she show expression. Her eyes are a deep,
piercing gold that stands out at night time, and
gleams with mischeif during day time. All of her
emotions can be seen through her glamorous gaze.
Personality:
Alethea is what mose would call...troublesome. She's
just a girl that wants to have some fun! Her
laughter seems to never stop, even though
she's probably laughing at you. Ale loves to play
with other animals, no matter what species. No one is safe.
She may not seem fun, but boy does she think she is.
Alethea is mischievous, always wandering too far from
her territory and getting herself into trouble. But then again,
Ale lives for the thrill. An adrenaline junkie like her
loves running from the lions after nipping at them
in their sleep, or making a cub cry at the watering hole. To
her it's all a fun game to pass the time!
Some might call her mean, some might call her judgemental,
but let's be honest here. Alethea is just outright honest.
She doesn't like you? Oh boy will you know it. She thinks your
fur is ugly? Get ready to get made fun of. Ale
isn't judgemental, she swears! She just tells
you her mind in the meanest way possible. Alethea is
a serious hyena most of the time, when she's judging you
to inflate her ego, that is. She will laugh her ass off
because of your scrawny mane or your huge ears.
It's what she lives for. The attention, obviously.
