A low and deep raspy voice. To be honest, his voice does not fit him at all, or it at least isn't what you wouldn't expect. His tone is normally low and very straight-forward, though it isn't demanding. Only time he ever yells is if angered or needs to call someone over, etc. Very common and simple things.
Appearance:
Call stands at 15 hands high, a rather even height, and not too large, but not too small. His general build is rather lean, though there is minimal muscle but he is not all power in his physique. Although built for running like any horse, Callum does not have the most muscular of build and possesses a bit more feminine build. However, he still has a masculine appearance, but considering his general build, it can be confused as feminine - which you wouldn't be wrong.
Callum as a rather sleek coat, mainly made up of a pitch dark black. His coat is called a black overo, and he has some white on him as well. This is found on his face - covering his nose and going up the middle of his face. There is a small patch on his shoulder. His eyes are dark, and you can see the whites of his eyes, making him look a bit crazy.

Personality:
To start, Callum is very intelligent. He is calculating his every move, deciding what to do next, and is always considering outcomes to almost every situation you could possibly think of. For this, he is very open-minded and is considerate of other possibilities and opportunities, always trying to take what is best for the herd rather than himself. He's selfless, and would give up his life for the herd - his family.
Callum is rather observant. He's always taking in little tid-bits that may not be useful in the moment, but could be later down the line. He is always looking out for information that would benefit anyone in any situation, as he is constantly alert and on his toes, sometimes making him in a rather foul mood. But to counter this, Callum also finds things to not be useful but then uses them in a creative way. He's always thinking outside of the box.
Callum is very protective of what is close to him. Although generally not that violent physically or verbally, the one thing you do not mess with is his friends and/or family. They are the world to him, and you should expect a rather rude and determined Callum to come after you. As he prefers to keep things as civil as possible, Callum is simply confrontational and likes to know the truth rather than just fighting with someone.
Speaking of which, Callum isn't much of a fighter. Instead, he tells you how it is and is the sort of stallion to walk away from situations he knows he can't handle instead of trying to win them. He knows that he cannot get everything he wants, and so he is grateful for what he has rather than wasting his time trying to get something he can't have or never could have. Perhaps it's from his age and being wise, or maybe to him it's just common sense.
Callum is definitely one to tell others what to do, but not in a demanding or harsh way. Say he's busy - he'll have someone do something else for him. He likes to do things himself, but sometimes, his plate is just full, so he knows when to ask for help. This is definitely one of those defining features of Call, considering he is a lead stallion - why would he ask for help? Regardless, Callum just knows that when he needs help, he should get it.

Atlas "May I have my Apple back-" Name: Atlas Herd/ Band: Pau Band Rank: Bachelor Age: 6 Years 7 Months Sex: Male || Stallion Relation to Late LS: N/A
Appearance: 
TigressStocks @ DA || TigressStocks@DA Standing at 16hh, weighing 1,152lbs, Atlas is an average sized stallion of his particular breed. His body figure is very defined, in the sense that most every muscle in his body is visible. Including his haunches, shoulders, chest, and neck. He is a rather bulky, but can still manuever as well as a small, lean horse. His hooves are a midnight black, but unfortunately, are always coated in either dirt, or mud, making his hooves more brown then anything. Atla's coat is one of the top reasons why he is so attractive. No, it is not that rare within the Paint Breed, but to wild horses who have not been very-well introduced to this breed, it may spike some curiousity. He has buckskin-colored splotches around his body, mainly surrounding his barrel, chest, and head. Around his entire body, it is coated with a white blanket, covering up any other color that may reside within his color genes. Along with his coat color, his mane and tail are just beautiful. They are not to die for, but he takes pride in his beauty. His mane is white, all along his neck but as it nears his poll, it turns into an obsidian black. His tail however, is white halfway on top, but underneath the way, is black that creaps downwards, expressing itself halfway, blanketing the rest. And finally, his eyes. He has always wished he had blue eyes.. but unfortunately, he was given two Dark Hazel eyes. Gaits for horses always depend on the horse, whether choppy or smooth, all depends on the horse. Atlas, has a nice, smooth trot, and canter. His gallop however- he is a rather bulky horse, and needs a little more power then most to get himself going. Lets just say.. its not smooth- it sounds and looks like a demonic creature is running staright at you, wanting to kill you. His hooves are not big, but always manage to make a thundering noise when he goes into full gallop. Personality: Basics
Stern || Firm || Won't hesitate to speak his Mind || Doesn't take "No" for an answer || Simple yet Stupid || Prideful Don't let his appearance fool you, he is one hell of a Stallion. When other see Atlas at first glance, they think he is a pushover. Why? There really isn't an exact reason why fellow Equines think Atlas can just be walked on liek grass, there really isn't. Is it his size? His posture? His breed? There is no exact reason, but everyone seems to try and use, munipulate him into basically anything. But in the end, they are all so terribly wrong. You see, he isn't a pushover, at any extent. He sometimes fakes being one to reel in the nasty ones, and once he has them latched on the hook, he snaps back, and starts to walk all over them. Either physically or verbally, however, he prefers physical more then anything else. He truly believes the physical punishment really gets through to someone rather then verbal arguments. Y'know when your mom slaps your mouth when you badmouthed her? It really hurts, and you hopefully learn not to do it again. When your dad talks to you sternly about not doing it again, you nod your head acting as if your actually listening, and you already know your going to do it again. Yeah, think of Aztec as your mom, except with hooves. Ever meet one of those foals, who is always getting in trouble, always disrespecting the higher-ups? Well, Aztec used to be one of those colts, as a young one, he would always wonder off, not giving one care in the world that he was breaking rules. But as he grew up into a stallion, he quickly learned not to be so foolish about it, but unfortunately, something stuck with him as he grew older, and is never afraid to speak his mind. If he thinks you look ugly, he'll say it. If he thinks you need a new style change in your mane, he'll say it. If he does not like you, you can guarantee he'll tell you. Atlas is not one to hide his feelings, no sir. The more and more you get to know this Stud, the more and more you realize how much of a rascal he is. Not in a crude way, but a mischievous way. He doesn't truly care for a rank's special treatments, respect, yada yada, he doesn't, not really but he knows the boundries. If someone deserves and earns Atlas' respect, they will surely recieve it, at some point. Unfortunately, even earning Atlas' respect and loyalty, he will most likely never listen to you when you say "no." No, that isn't entirely correct. When he hears the word "No" he hears "yes" instead, which, as you probably know, can cause many issues. As he matures, he controls himself a bit more, year after year, but even then, he still acts foolish.

Until The End - Breaking Benjamin || Until The End Backstory: 11 Years Ago~ "Come on mom!" A handsome paint colt was trotting around, kicking his rearend into the sky, dirt and grass constantly flung upwards. Behind him, a beautiful black overo mare was trotting after the colt, whipping her head side to side. In the lovely fields of Montana, a small herd of mares and foals were grazing. It was the middle of spring, foals had been born and raised, and life was good. But unfortunately, unlike every other fantasy, this life changed in a blink of an eye. The sun was high, midsky, and the wind was just enough to keep the horses from overheating. Atlas and his dam were playing around a bit ways away from the herd, having the time of their lives. After a good 20 or 30 minutes of playtime, the Mare had lied down, her head resting on the soft, green grass. Atlas walked over, lying down behind his mother's back, resting his head on her withers, breathing heavily from his previous play. His mother had closed her eyes, probably planning to take a nap, and so Atlas copied her, closing his eyes softly. Little did he know, that only mere 300ft away from him and his mother was a menacing black stallion, approaching them in silence. The black stallion had approached the two first, and lowered his head, his nostril's just above Atlas' head. Everything was silent until the large stallion snorted stomping his hooves, startling both teh Mare and her foal. "Atlas!" She called out, standing up within moments, wrapping her head around Atlas, pushing him behind her, hiding him from any potential danger. Her ears were pinned back against her head, and she kept her head low, her body squared out, protecting her foal. They had a staring match for five minutes or so until the herd's Lead Stallion came running up, announcing his presence. Then.. everything fell down from there. The Lead Stallion was lying down lifeless, his head arched back, his legs sprawled outwards, and his stomach had stopped moving up and down. He was dead. Other:

From one of Sacath's banished Stallions, Kansas is apart of his fourth generation from the lines of Sacath. Appearance: 
Nexu4 @ DA || Nexu4@DA Don't mind the dangle :,> Standing nearly 15hh tall, and weighing around 1,120lbs, Kansas is a young Warmblood, with many years left to grow into an extrodinary mare. This mare has a lean body, but wide shoulders and rump. She doesn't have a special figure of any sort, but she is certainly quite a sight. A coat like Kansas' is always one to admire, and will forever be one to admire from at least a few admirers. Her entire body is coated with different shades of grey dapples, but underneath the dapples are two different colors. Her front end of her body is a light grey, almost a white near the poll of her head. This light grey covers her until midway of her barrel, changing to a dark grey that covers her rearend, and her hindlegs. Over the years, she'll lighten to a possible full white, with small grey dapples here and there. But, that is yet to be determined, and of course, we can only see the now. So let's focus on that. A lean, narrow body may have faults, but it also has its pros. Kansas and maneuver through smaller spaces rather more easily then lets say, a full grown bulked mare. If she were to be running through a forest full of fallen trees, brush, etc. she'd be able to run through it much more safely and faster then others. Personality: Basics
Snotty || Rude || Know-it-All || Social || Persuasive || Munipulative Puts on a kind act to reel in the suckers. Kansas is what you may call a "Fake." She lies her way into any sort of relationships, and once she has what she wants, she breaks the relationship without any remorse. What made her this way? Some say it was her mother, others say it was her father. She lies about it supposedly, but no one truly knows really. Sometimes some of them wonder if she fakes being fake.. she is not a simple Mare in the least, and is quite the confusing one. Being a fake, comes with many perks if you know how to use it real well. But, your true colors eventually shine through. Her 'fake personality' is a quiet, kind, emotional young mare who is in need of guidence and support. In reality, she is a snot-nosed horse who doesn't know when to quit. Kansas doesn't truly like other horses, she despises them and their troubles. She doesn't see the point in sharing your troubles with others, just, why? Why complain and share your issues only to get "I'm sorry." "Oh your poor dear." Its utterly pointless! Backstory: 2 Years Ago~ "You insolent child! Learn you place!" And with a flick of his hoof, her head jerked to the side, and she stumbled a few steps back, shaking her head side to side, she snorted, and stomped her hoof. "How dare you! I did what you wanted! If anyone is insolent here, you are, you pathetic excuse of a Leader!" As she spoke, she whipped her hind end around, kicking her hind legs out, square in the Lead Stallions chest, kicking the wind out of him. Righting herself, Kansas snorted again, taking a few steps back, facing the Stallion once more. "I am sick of you treating my mother like this. Its unexcuseable!" While she had time, the yearling charged towards the large stud, shoving herself into him, causing him to step a foot back or two. "Kansas!" Hearing her name being called, Kansas whipped her head to look for who was calling her name, and a mare was galloping towards her. "Mom! What are you doi-" not paying attention, the yearling was struck in the side by a powerful kick, and she was kncoked down, nearly loosing teh ability to breath for a moment. She stands at a generous height of 16hh, but her legs make her appear just a tad bit taller. She has power in her kick and movements due to this height. She also in a way has a balance of speed and power in her kick. She has a well formed face that is slender and feminine in appearance. Her coat is what's consider a painted one. She bears a gorgeous blood bay coat. Her coat is a gorgeous shade of blood-red, similar to that of a mahogany chestnut, but their is a difference. Blood Bays have black points however hers are covered by the white on her legs, but she has the points on her ears. When her coat is further inspected it can appear to be almost purple in coloration. All these proves that she is a true blood bay. Her body is compact and stocky in appearance. She has a powerful and well balanced build. Her beauty is added to even more with the gorgeous white overo markings. She has spots that range in size around her flank and shoulders with some extending to her neck. The dark pigment around her ears for what can be called a 'medicine hat'. Her hindquarters are rounded and her back is broad and flexible for smooth and quick movements. She also bears a well muscled neck and excellent bascule. Her body is well muscled and it bears some scarring but it is mainly hidden by the darkness of her coat and the white markings. This mare bears a multi-colored mane and tail. Both have the same colors yet are different in appearance. Her mane is mainly a lovely shade of platinum blonde with some tinges of yellow along with black hair with a mix of softer brown undertones. Her tail is mainly obsidian and black, but if one looks closer you can see the small amount of platinum blonde in it. Her hooves are a shade of tan with a sight pinkness to them. They are sturdy and flexible and allow her a range of motion. This mare smells like a mixture of fresh rain and the fragrance of jasmine and honeysuckle.  Personality: The first thing to not about this femme is her frosty nature. She seems to always bear a impassive expression on her face - one that's always seem to be glaring at others in judgment. She's not quick to make conversation with others and could rather care less about futile and unintelligent conversation - she especially hates "small talk" . Like why does she care about how beautiful or relaxing the weather is? Unless it's absolutely a disaster then she'll make comment on it - however, inwardly she does appreciate the beauty of nature and mild and pleasing weather. She also has this certain look when she's watching you approach her for conversation, it can be quite off putting. It can give her a seemingly standoffish nature - which in reality she isn't, she's just a bit selective in who she is seen with. She also has a stern nature - one that is a mixture of an older sister and motherly nature. She has a certain tolerance for nonsense - and she is quite the tough love character. This dame makes a lesson out of one's misfortune. A child hurts themself because they ran into a tree - "Why the fuck were you frolicking about so frivolously that you weren't aware of your surroundings? Pay attention next time!" She has substantial patience with foals - however she is more stricter with yearlings, but she has absolutely no tolerance for grown idiots. She can and will call you out on your bullshit if you're being a absolute idiot and you're a grown equine. This female is very confident in herself. You can see it in the way she walks and behaves. Never will you see her with her head lowered or posture out of order. She walks with a certain air of dignity surrounding her - she is not arrogant, nor does she think she is superior than others. She is just confident in her abilities when they are needed to be at the disposal of others. Her words are always composed and elegant - you won't hear her with a cacophonous tone in her voice. No, she'd rather elegantly and venomously set you aright. Just as her words can be mild and rather impassive with others - they can also be sharp and cutting with others. Oh yes, she can have quite the sass and sarcastic remarks for you - she can be rather brutally honest and straightforward with you. After all everyone needs a companion that'll tell it to you straight - and one who has the ability to read the room meticulously and give their insight. It shows her intelligence and creativity with her words - after all not everyone has the gift of sarcasm . Her sarcasm intermixed with her wits makes her a dame you do not want to argue with - because she will successfully have the last word in the matter. This female has a rather uncaring nature about most things - expect when it relates to those close to her or those within her herd or group. If a stranger stallion came up to her trying to flirt with her - she'd just give him a glare to promptly tell him to fuck off. And if he doesn't take the warning then she'll gladly raise some hell from them. No she isn't easily impressed by stallions and their flowery words - no, they have to prove it. You say you love her? Prove it. You say you're smart - prove it to her. She doesn't take everyone's word for something - you have to prove it. If you can prove to her that you are what you say then she may have some mild respect for you. It takes a lot to truly impress her or get her full respect. In regards to this nature - she can be quite assertive when need be. Her leaders - if they are honorable ones, have her full respect and loyalty. She will not let anyone talk bad about them, and if she does then she will have something to say about it. Whether she has a position or not - she expects to be respected naturally, because you do to others as you want them to do to you. Yes, she has little tolerance for disrespect towards her or those she's close to. And she'll be damned if someone tested her patience or gangster - there will be hell to pay. Aside from her more undesirable qualities this femme has ones that are quite admirable. She is extremely hardworking - never put it past her to be up overnight doing things required for her. She may go as far to deprive herself of sleep to make sure the herd is safe - while she may act like she doesn't care, she does. In her subtle actions of observing others and noting their needs and passing it on to the higher ups. This dame is also trustworthy - she'd die before she betray those close to her or her herd. She is also one to keep secrets and matters of privacy under wraps. You could tell her a secret and she'd take it to her grave. She's a true friend, even if she doesn't look like it - if you catch her on a pleasant day she may even let you confide if her. She's one to listen and sometimes she can be rather empathetic but these are rare times. Another admirable trait about her is that she can keep a calm and composed nature - one that could be looking at the face of death but remain eerily calm. Yes, she is one to keep a brave face for those scared and frightened - and while she may be rather undesirable in her word choice for pep talks - she tries to encourage them to keep going forward. Her mind is always working as well - she's quick witted and sharp, little gets last her and she's very highly adaptable to situations and matters. She knows when to tone her doom and gloom nature down and when to become serious and take charge. Yes, she can indeed prove to be an asset to her home. It is rather hard to earn your way into this femme's heart. She has a select few that she absolutely knows she can rely and care for. These are her friends and family, both biological and ones she's taken under her wings. These are the ones who see a more relaxed side to her aside from her more rigid nature. She's more comfortable around them - they are the ones who get a soft smile from her or even a rare laugh. You may even note a certain softness with her tone around them - she's still blunt but not at coarse or harsh like she may be with others. These are also the ones she would trust her life with and the care of her children with. She would absolutely do anything for them, yes - even kill for them. The children belonging to them are her nieces and nephews - even if they don't know it or accept it, they better be prepared for it. Yes, those being blood related to her also hold a special place in her heart - even if they're half siblings. However blood does not determine your family - it's who you chose and she strongly believes this. She is quick to cut off even blood relatives if she doesn't find them pleasant or worthy of being associated with her. Only those truly worthy will become her friends and in some cases family. This mare views family and friends as important. Having good friends is a one thing she treasures. She strives to be a good friend and be for them no matter what, and she would do everything in her power to make sure they're happy. When it comes to friends and family she may be a bit biased as she cares for them more deeply than others. The say blood is thicker than water, but if you're her true friend then you're basically family. She only puts up with the antics of those she are close to, but even then she'll call them out if they're being stupid or fake towards her. She doesn't like fake friends nor does she tolerate them. She will become more mischievous and bolder in her word choices if someone disrespect her around her friends. This mare can take the heat and criticism. She's used to it: her bold and forward nature is sure to ruffle some feathers. She doesn't care if you insult her. Fine, she'll just bite your head off with an insult that'll put you in your place, but she'll deliver it in a calm manner with a venomous tone. No, one does not want to poke this bear, because when she is awake she goes all out on your ass. Now, if you insult her family? Ah, you'd better run for the hills darling. This mare doesn't tolerate one insulting them, and she will physically put herself between you and them. Now if her yearling is being talked about, then they need to learn to have thick skin and she'll tell them to stick up for themselves, but if it's too much then she will come in. And you don't want this angry mama on your ass. However, if you're degrading her foal or the foal of someone close to her then this mare is coming to you with a mother's fury. This mare is extremely protective of her foals especially her younger ones. She doesn't like any stallion breathing in their vicinity unless they're the sire. This mare also doesn't like any other mare trying to take the responsibility of lecturing or disciplining her children. She knows they may mean the best, but if they're not close to her then they can kindly fuck off. Only when she's dead and gone may another raise her children and even then she would have entrusted them to someone she views as worthy of raising them in her absence. Áine is a headstrong mare when it comes to the raising of her children. She doesn't give in to her children's pleas or demands. If they want to do something then they must ask in a mature and dignified manner and not beg. She does not beg others to do things and therefore her children must not beg or be beggars. She may give her children tough love, but it's only so they'll grow stronger and intelligent. She wants them to be better than her and avoid the mistakes she has made. Her love for her children is unconditional. Her children also know better than to disrespect her or undermine her authority over them even when they're grown she'll still give them a good kick to the ass if they get smart with her. No one is worthy of her children, and she'll critically look at any mare or stallion that come near her filly/colt in a flirtatious manner. They better know to win mother over before her child. Her children must refer to her as : Mother, Mama, or anything honorific that signifies she's their dam. Only when they're ten may they have the privilege of a first name basis. She teaches her foals how to use their brain, be wise, and how to never be ran over. However they know better than to disobey or misbehave around her. If she even sees/hears about her yearling getting into a fight or bullying someone then they will be in big trouble and it's not just a nip trouble. They will get a kick to the arse, a long lecture, and she will make them walk towards the back and isolate them from their friends. And she will expect them to give a formal apology as well to the parents and yearling they were so disrespectful to. When it comes to parenthood this mother does not play and she only wants the best for her children. This mare has a dauntless nature. She's not fazed by mountain lions or wolves as she's seen worse. She would define run to protect her children from such creatures , and if a stallion was to help her then she isn't above it. She is just as fierce and scary as any stallion. Her stubbornness can be annoying at time, but it makes for a good friend and it's sort of admirable that she knows how to stick her ground and not back down no matter the cost. Valarian-Warrior @ DA || Valarian-Warrior@DA Standing at 17hh, this vibrant mare may look small from afar, but up-close, she is a beast. Color of fall leaves, and the red trees of a Redwood forest, Hazard's appearance is absolutely striking to few. No matter who says what, she will always take pride in her coat, and she most certainly expresses it. Holding her head high, and walking with a prance, Hazard shows off her coat to the world, even the sun can barely peer down at her coat. The suns rays reflect off of her coat (only when she is wet) and it is almost impossible to see this darling mare. Her white color variation, also known as "Paint." It covers her entire lower abdomen, left inside hind leg, the left side of her neck, legs, and her face. The right side of her body is entirely chestnut, besides her lower abdomen, legs, and face. Her eyes are indeed a rare color, a gorgeous Blue. This happens due to lack of pigment, etc, etc. But the fact she has blue eyes at all, hazard feels really good about them, and feels almost like a queen when others stare at her in awe. She'll do anything for them, along with her closest of friends and family. Nothing come before family. She walks with pride knowing that she can be trusted, that she has a bond with horses that are unbreakable. A horse with that sort of trust deserves to be praised in her eyes, a horse with that strong of a friendship deserves everything, a horse that can stand tall without falling on their knees is one you know you can follow. Hazard wants to be like that. She wants to be the one those can trust, and honor, and praise, but unfortunately she is so far from that goal. Its painful, but she doesn't stop. Whatever to please them, right? This mare does not hide behind anyone, she puts herself out there for the world, not giving one care in the world if her life or reputation was at stake. If her family was at stake, then that would be different, but otherwise, Hazard isn't afraid to speak her mind, she isn't afraid to take matters into her own hands, she isn't afraid at all. For those wondering, the previous lead stallion was a dark bay (looks rather similar to seal brown), almost black. This is just so you can create more accurate decendants, but it doesn't matter too much, obviously ^^ . In addition, I just added a new piece to the form ("Relation to Late LS"), so please add it to your form so it's easier for others to tell where your character lies in the bloodlines. :) |
