Appearance: Personality: Esmra is a very nurturing female. She is always making sure others are doing well before herself. A mature one, she is. Esmra doesn't tolerate immaturity. She will call you out on it. Esmra may not look that intimidating but you will find out she can be real soon. She is kind to everyone when she meets them unless they do something to piss her off. She isn't one to hold grudges against others despite her sarcastic mouth. . Her loyalty lies within herself. She respects everyone however she knows what is best for her. Esmra does hope to achieve the status of being a leader. She does see herself fit due to her leadership skills. Esmra puts everyone above herself. She sees them more as a priority to her. Esmra would most likely sacrifice herself for the pack. She doesn't see something like that needing to happen, but it stays in the back of her mind. Esmra knows she is alive because of this pack. You would never see her betraying them in any way. That's not who she is. . The female has confidence in herself. She is a very independent female who believes she will get things done faster by herself. However, she doesn't mind group work. She does work very well with others but she prefers to do it alone. Esmra is very determined. When she puts her mind to something, she will make sure to get it done before anything. Going along with her independence, Esmra has a hard time asking for help anyway. She can't seem to bring it to her to ask. Therefore, she performs alone and if she struggles, she just tries harder until she reaches success. . Likes: + Alone Time +

name zeus age three, almost four years gender male breed pure german shepherd appearance personality zeus usually speaks his mind when he needs to say something. ever since he was a pup, he's always hated being punished for the wrong thing and speaks without fear. sometimes, he could be a very caring dog, almost like a big brother in most cases. him being the quiet dog he was, zeus never spoke when it wasn't needed. he knew when to keep his mouth shut, though he sometimes would slip up and act not-so-serious. . it would take a while to have zeus crushing on you. most of the time, he didn't like female dogs. they irritated him- and always made it seem like all they could do was complain and yell. while he could be annoying at times, it seemed like he sometimes treated the dogs he really loved and cared about like pups, because of him being him, he always ended up overthinking things making himself believe almost anything could happen at any moment. zeus's mind thought it as, anyone could die or get hurt at any moment. likes - watermelon - swimming - getting exercise - spending time w loved ones - alone time dislikes - pups - lazy dogs - loud places - rats, the food (all pictures, c - bfstock on DA) |

it was a new day as zeus opened his eyes. he could easily sense the excitement beyond his owners, and he had no clue as to why. he'd wish he could understand his owners- well he could, though only some words, like "outside, sit, stay" etc. as zeus stood up, he stretched and his female owner came over to him. she pet him, while happily saying "zeus! good morning handsome. today is a good day" and then walked away, leaving zeus with no context as to why he might be able to be excited about the day as well. his stomach growled, so he switched his attention to eating breakfast. sometimes he already had breakfast set out for him. other days he didn't. approaching his food bowls he noticed two extra food and water bowls, that were pink and white unlike his, which were black and blue. he sniffed them, realising his owners were bringing home another dog. another dog in his house, ew. the thought of that made zeus worry his owners would have a new favourite "good boy" or hell, maybe the newbie would be a "good girl" as the shepherd shook the feeling off, he let out a long sigh and paid attention to his breakfast which his owners put in his bowl before he had waken up. "bye zeus, we'll be back soon with your new sister!" he heard his owners say as the two left out of the front door. zeus didn't seem to care, their words were just words and he didn't understand them one bit. what he did understand though, is was his owners were leaving, without him. that's how he knew that something big would be happening, and it was all he could think about as he ate his breakfast while the t.v played in the background, awkwardly. |

Icy blue orbs looked around at all the other dogs. The constant barking irritated the female. However, she could understand why they were noisy. Each time a person walked in, all the dogs would go crazy, hoping the human would take them home. Esmra was hopeless. She had a few people interested in taking her but nobody actually did. She didn't understand why. She was perfectly house trained and very good with other dogs and kids. Well. she wouldn't say other dogs necessarily. Esmra can tolerate other dogs but she is very overprotective. The female husky mix sighed as she laid down in her cage. Just as she was about to fall asleep, she heard her name being called. "Esmra! Esmra girl! You have visitors." Of course Esmra couldn't understand what she was being told, all she understood was her name. So clearly, there's something awaiting her. . Esmra rose to her paws to see a couple standing in front of her cage. They seemed to be interested. Though Esmra wondered how long that was going to last. She soon saw one of the ladies who would take care of her, give the couple a leash and collar. They hooked Esmra to the leash and began their way. Esmra looked back at the other dogs, saddened for them but happy for her. She was finally going home. . It had been a long car ride before they pulled up to an unfamiliar house. Esmra's tail began to wag. She finally had a family. They let her out of the car and she bolted through the door, slightly yipping. Her tail was wagging uncontrollably. She even had her own food bowl! However...there was another food bowl next to hers. Esmra began to sniff around to get used to the place until she walked into a room with another dog at the opposite side. Now she was slightly frustrated. |

as soon as zeus finished his breakfast he went to the next room to rest, or at least do something. he knew that once the new dog came home he wouldn't be the only dog anymore- obviously, but it made him sad in a way. zeus kinda wished his personality was more playful, if it was he'd be way more excited, just why wouldn't they take zeus with them? he was a good boy, he'd never disobey in the shops or anything. what was so different now? was the new dog already the new favourite? . zeus sighed. all he thought about was how the new dog would affect the relationship he already had formed with his owners. deciding it was best for him to just calm down, zeus stood up and yawned before walking into the living room to watch the t.v that was playing. to zeus, it was just random people, colours, and words but it was so entertaining for some sort. he heard his owner's car pull up into the driveway, but he was mad at them for not taking him on their car ride so he planned to act mad. as the front door opened, a white and black dog burst through the door. who was this dog and why was she in his house? . zeus had a feeling it was the new dog, though he started barking because he didn't know the new dog at all. he'd never seen her, and he was sure about that. jumping off of the couch and walking over to the new person, zeus sniffed her and growled, baring his teeth before turning around and walking away |

A part of Esmra was slightly shocked at the strange dog's reaction. But as a reflex, she snapped at him before also walking away. Is this what she is going to have to deal with? He's basically acting like a pup. Esmra laid down in the first dog bed she saw, not caring if it was hers or not. She curled her tail around her while looking at her surroundings. The place was nice, she could definitely say that. But the dog...not so much. Esmra huffed as she laid in the bed, deciding whether or not to go to sleep. She was worried that if she did go to sleep, the other dog would attack her. . Esmra had taken a small nap before waking up. She did a long stretch and headed over to her food bowl that happened to be filled. One thing her old owners like, was that Esmra was not food aggressive. She bent her head down before taking a few bites of her food. Esmra gulped up some water before returning to the big room with a TV. She laid back down in the bed before slowly falling asleep. |

as zeus saw his owners walk through the door, he couldn't help but run up to them and greet them happily, while wagging his tail. "zeus! hey boy!" the other owner said. zeus heard his name, and "boy" and got even more excited. he loved his owners, they were the absolute best, though sometimes he thought they were the worst and missed his small group of dog friends he enjoyed hanging out with at the dog park. after settling down and following his owners around the house for a little while, he became tired and laid on his doggy bed that was near the sofa in the living room. he felt that was the most amazing nap he had ever taken in his whole life. . maybe zeus would talk to the new dog, maybe not. he kept wondering if he should because she seemed interesting, but not interesting enough. as he stood up and stretched, he felt like he had a lot of energy and decided to go outside and run around. as the male was using his doggy door to go into the backyard, he saw the newbie laying on a doggy bed as he just was a couple of minutes ago. look at her, already making herself at home. zeus huffed. sadly but surely, he knew he would have to get used to her. ever since he was a pup he's lived here, and he hated seeing another dog get so comfortable in his space |

Opening her eyes shortly after, she looked around. Her eyes locked onto a doggy door that was slightly swinging, as if someone had just used it. Esmra got excited and ran through the door that led to outside. However, her excitement was cut short when she spotted the male who had growled at her earlier. What was his deal? She thought to herself. Esmra glared at the male before huffing and going back inside. She was immediately caught by her new owners as they looked at her collar. "Esmra..." She heard them say and instantly started wagging her tail. "Is that your name, girl?" Esmra began lolling her tongue with a goofy grin. Shortly after, she saw the humans pull a small bone shaped treat from a box. "Sit." Esmra heard them say and instantly sat on the floor, tail still wagging. "Good girl." The treat was tossed towards Esmra and she immediately gobbled it up. This was followed by tons of petting. When Esmra was done with her interaction, she padded towards the living room and laid on the floor. . Esmra couldn't help but start thinking about her friends back at the kennel. She felt bad that she was the one who got picked today. Her hopes for them getting adopted are still fairly high. Especially Lucy. She is such a good dog and was always kind towards Esmra. Her thoughts began to sadden her a little. The female wrapped her long tail around her body and started to think about her "roommate." Why was he so hostile towards her? He barely knows her. She barely knows him. It was only right that she snapped back at him. Although, from what she's heard, his name appeared to be Zeus. What an odd name. |

a couple of minutes into running around the backyard, zeus started panting and whatnot, like any dog, would. he took a break and then started running around again, then stopped to look and stare at a new species of flowers his owners seemed to just plant in their flower beds. his owners were big plant and flower lovers, so the dogs had multiple plants and stuff throughout their home and both front and back yard. . it was a pretty flower, bells of ireland they were, in fact. since he was a puppy his owners had probably had maybe 3,000 flowers planted in this very garden. him being a shepherd, he was very smart so zeus learned names of a couple of flowers here and then, only if his owners constantly said the name though. as zeus stood up he trotted back inside to his owners, rubbing his head on his female's owners leg to let her know he was safe and inside. she was his favourite out of the two owners he had. she was so sweet to him and for as long as zeus could remember, he always had her by his side. they were inseparable and he would do anything for her. going into the living room, the male went to his bed and switched his gaze to the tv that was playing his favourite show, which his owners always had on when they were busy or not watching tv. it was still pretty early in the morning and zeus was tired out from running around so he closed his eyes, and fell asleep again. |
