Traveler took a quick exhale, feeling the tension rise slightly. He could hear the shuffling and the slight growls the infected gave out as they approached the door of the shack, making the adrenaline pump through his veins more. Turning to look at Ewan, he felt the approaching presence of one get closer, and just before he went to stab the infected, Ewan took care of it. "Shit," he muttered, trying his best to quickly catch the body. It hit the ground with a louder thump, the shuffles outside quickening and the growls growing louder. "Motherfucker," Traveler muttered to himself before standing up, exiting the shack.

"Let's dance," he huffed. Traveler watched the infected make quicker approaches, and one went towards Ewan while the other went towards Traveler. He quickly stabbed the infected in the temple, dropping the body and waiting for the next one to make its approach. He looked back at Ewan.

Ewan took a longer knife from his waistband sheath and sighed as the infected approached. He stepped up to the infected and sliced through its throat, the blade slipping through flesh and spinal cord. He then looked at Traveler. "I didn't survive this long without knowing something " He said and laughed. He enjoyed destroying these creatures, maybe too much.

Traveler continued to watch the infected approach, faster and faster as each body dropped. "C'mon, fucker!" Traveler yelled, quickly stabbing each one either in the head, throat, or stomach before hitting the brain - it was the only thing that truly killed them. Eventually they would decompose even more, but reaching the brain was always the goal to actually kill them. Traveler took a deep breath, taking down one of the last ones as Ewan spoke.

"I hope to shit you learned at least something," Traveler replied, hearing the other man laugh. "Funny, huh?"

Ewan chuckled. "What can i say, its fun." he said with a shrug and whirled around on his one good foot, kneeing one in the stomach and performing an uppercut, knocking the undeads head back and watching the soft and decaying flesh of its throat tear. He then planted his knife in its head. "We shoud get out of here." he said as he quickly limped in to grab his bag and whatever easy to grab supplies he could shovel in.

Traveler narrowed his eyes slightly on the man next to him. Unexpectedly, Ewan was a bit more twisted than Traveler had anticipated. Traveler would be considered an insane man himself, at least before everything went to shit. He huffed, and rolled his eyes as Ewan spoke about getting out of where they were. "No shit," he huffed before grabbing his gear and leaving. "Stay alert, who knows how many more of these fuckers are out here."

Ewan nodded. He stayed silent, allowing Traveler to lead now. He could walk, but it was still a limp and he would still have a chance of dislocation again if he ran, so it was better the infected didn't hear them. He looked to Traveler, waiting to hear a plan or to follow the man.

Traveler huffed slightly, trying to think of another place for shelter for the night. The nearest place was that damned gas station that he found Ewan at, and he was unsure of wether to go back there for the sake of possible infected. He looked over his shoulder to gesture for him to follow. "Any idea of where to go?" He asked in a low voice, cautious of the possible infected that could be around.

Ewan shrugged. "There was a cabin just west of here. Didn't look at it much, supplies was more important. It might be empty." He said, still looking around for infected.

Traveler huffed, letting out a slight sigh. "Lead the way," he gestured toward Ewan, going behind him in a quiet manner and watching for anymore infected.
