Sky didn't look at her, just kept his gaze on the ground. " Rain was my mate for 2 moons.... We were thinking about starting our own pride... Until she got killed while hunting yesterday"

"Oh.. I'm so sorry.." Kelly said she looked down. "I don't know why the are forcing us to be mates..." Kelly said.

"I don't know either... Maybe they're just that desperate to be grandparents" Sky looked up and glared at his parents from afar.

"Most likely. I bet my dad wants to be a grandfather as well.." Kelly said.

"What...should we do then? I don't want to force you or myself to do anything...but our parents are making all the choices for us" Sky said as he looked up at Kelly

"What if we run away?" Kelly said

Sky looked surprised when he suggested that, but it didn't sound like a bad idea. "that doesn't... Sound too bad at all"

"I know a place where they won't find us." Kelly said. "It's really safe and has more prey then this place does." She added.

"Honestly, I'd do anything to get away from my pride at this point...I think they've lost their minds" Maybe this would do him and Kelly some good. Getting away from their toxic parents "wait, what if they track us?"
