Sloane figures she should meet up with Kanu, and figure out how things should be done. She must admit that the plan sounded good, with both immortal kingdoms getting off scott free with killing the Earth King. It would just be a matter of if the plan would work out that well in reality. Sloane had been apart of enough finely drawn out plots and schemes to know that things rarely went as planned. Sloane slipped out the bar and towards the open green where she could call her griffin. The beast had already been soaring in the sky, and swooped down as his eagle eyes spotted Sloane waving for him. Soon, they were on their way to the palace.

Kanu had shredded the letter and set it on fire (don't ask) before beginning to return to the palace. His wings strong and steady despite being attached to someone who was fairly weak. He had worked out a little, just enough before he started shaking violently. But it was enough to sate the dragon's hunger for his actual insides. So Kanu landed outside the palace happily humming to himself in a completely not worried manner.

Sloane dropped down to the ground a few minutes later, Gryphem flying away while Bulla landed on her shoulder. Sloane slowly walked up the steps of the palace, looking for Kanu. (im not sure if he is in or out of the palace)

(He's outside in the gardens rn) Kanu was not too tired just yet, but he didn't want to risk staying out for too long. Instead, he decided to explore the gardens. It was probably odd for an actual demon to be seen smelling roses but he was interested in the earth's flora. Hell's flowers were.. definitely not like this.

Sloane looked around for a while before finding Kanu in the gardens. She bristled at the memory of their last encourter in the garden, but still walked in. Sloane stopped a few feet from Kanu and crossed her arms, "Oogling the flowers? Very threatening." Her voice was just as harsh and snapping as ever.

Kanu glanced up as Sloane approached, but continued to stare at the weird purple flowers that almost looked like little explosions. He took a moment to reply, slowly turning to face Sloane. "I've learned to try and enjoy the little things the world offers at times, especially times like these. You should try it too, it would probably make you less grumpy all the time." He looked mildly tired, and much more sincere than normal, not as humorous and more exhausted by the world.

Sloane huffed, her eyes saying, "Yeah right." She walked over to stand by Kanu, and lowered her voice, checking to be sure no one else was there, "Did you also get a message?" Maybe Sloane should be concerned about Kanu, since she kinda saved his life one time, but he was breathing and standing, and Sloane didn't really care.

Kanu completely missed Sloane's annoyed eyes. He was quite tired of all the negativity, coming from everywhere, not just Sloane's constant nagging. Granted, he knew all about her just from analyzing her, she was a lot more vulnerable than she seemed. Granted he would never say that out loud unless he was drunk. So basically, it would happen very soon. "Yea no shit. I definitely don't think we should be talking about it here though. In a very public garden," Kanu hissed under his breath. Bold purple eyes scanned the garden, there were a few others but they looked innocent enough. Though, his prior experience told him that anyone could be a spy.

"Where, then?" She snapped back, although Sloane was considerate enough to not be loud, "On the back of my griffin?" Her voice was sarcastic, but then she closed her mouth, and looked thoughtful, "Gryphem can fly above cloud level so there is no risk of spies."

Kanu snorted, his purple eyes finally looking up at Sloane as he was finally done looking at the pretty whatever-it-was in front of his face. "I can fly just as good as your griffin, though I suppose that it would be easier to not have to yell over the wind, or get hurt by your monster's feet." Kanu did not like griffins, they were annoyingly hard to kill and very dangerous with their big brains and sharp talons. They almost, sort of scared him when he was in his human form. Though he would never tell anyone that.
