Amara kept pace with Sebastian as she heard the town bustling with life, most of the villagers watching both her and Sebastian. They knew what was in store for them, but they all still seemed rather shocked the two got along so well, so quickly after everything the kingdoms had gone through. She looked at Sebastian before she shook her head. "After hearing about what happened to Lorelei, I dont blame you. I would be upset as well, especially if someone you asked refused to help like that with Aro. I forgive you" she said, figuring that was mostly what he wanted to hear more than anything right then. When he mentioned stopping at a flower cart she smiled. "And what would the flowers be for kind sir" she said in a bit of a flirtatious way. ~~~ Aro crossed his arms as he watched her, wondering where her snarkiness was. His eyes narrowed for a moment, though they softened up when she mentioned actually needing someone. *That's, odd* he thought as he kept listening. When she mentioned getting kidnapped, he looked almost confused. "With your sharp tongue I figured you would have lashed your way out" he said, almost in a teasing tone, not one he usually had. He shook his head. "You would have to be crazy if you think it would be easy to take advantage of you" he said, his tone even, but far from cold. "Sounds to me like it was more than just one person, which is the only way I could see you ever being hurt like that." Aro let out a sigh as he looked down. He didnt know why he was so, open to talking right then. "Look, whatever happened to you is in the past. It's not easy to forget something so tragic, but you need to show them you arent weak, that your stronger than what they did to you" he said before he pulled his cloak back, looking at her, showing her his full face for the first time. |

Seb smiled at all the town-folks as they walked down the streets. He could tell how surprised they are to see him here and with their Princess. Yet, they knew what this meant. If anything, they were more surprised at how well they seemed to get along with each other and how well they complete one another rather then being surprised that he is here. He doesn't want them to fear him because that isn't who he is. He wants them to think of him as an ally, knowing that he will have their back and will only support them during their rough times. "I get it, I truly do. Aro acted the way he did just because that is how he is. I'm just mad that I thought he would help when I knew from the get go that he wouldn't. She'll be fine, but I know her needing someone is something she needs and I know she wouldn't ever admit that." He said as he smiled to some more of the people. He glanced down at her, surprised by the slight flirtatiousness she is giving him. He hasn't seen this side of her yet. He grinned as he shrugged his shoulders. "Why, for a very fair lady that I'm going on a picnic with. You should meet her as she is quite amazing and very kind and caring." He stopped before the flower cart and gestured towards them. "Pick whatever ones you want, love." ~~~~~~~~ Lor noticed how he was confused when she mentioned her being kidnapped. Of course he wouldn't know the news from the other kingdoms since he doesn't get updates from anyone to know what is even going on out in the world. She truly isn't surprised considering what she knows and has somewhat learned about him. She noticed the almost teasing tone to his voice he had at his next comment. She was slightly surprised at the completely and different tone as she has never heard him sound this soft before. She looked up at him, her arms crossing over her chest. "I was someone completely different back then. I was the opposite of what I am now, hun." She muttered as she looked away. She remembered how naive and weak she felt before she was kidnapped. If anything, that event made her see things in a different way and she did grow strong from it. It's just with this day coming up each year, she reverts back to her old self for some reason and she hates it. "You wouldn't like who I was back then. A naive girl, not knowing the true intents of people. Pathetic really." She scoffed as she shook her head. She laughed slightly, yet it was a bit strained. "Well, that was then, before Seb actually let me wield a sword and everything. Made me feel better that I could protect myself this time if it were to somehow happen again." She nodded her head when he said it was more than one person. Of course it was, always will be. All but one was killed, something she won't tell him. Seb doesn't even know that the head guy is still alive and prowling out in the shadows still. Just thinking about that made a shiver go up her spine. "You have already seen how I usually am. I don't know why, but when the anniversary comes around, my body just shuts down. It's the weirdest thing and I hate it." She stood up from her bed before going over to him. She watched as he pulled the hood of his cloak down, finally showing his face that she did actually enjoy looking at. "You know, Aro, you should take your advice." She teased as she reached up and gently put her hand on his cheek, the one that had his scar. "I know people tell you that you are a monster and that scars only damage how you look." She said as she traced his scar gently. "Don't listen to them. I understand what it feels like. You scar is beautiful and it only adds to your personality." She smiled softly at him, her eyes locking with his. "You look handsome the way you are, even with the scar. Perfection is overrated anyways, hun." |

Amara smiled as she looked at Sebastian. "Aro is certainly stubborn and won't allow anyone in if he doesn't think that they have much worth, which, until he gets to know you and Lorelei better, I fear that might be how he feels. I know both of you are amazing sweet people, and I don't want either of you to feel like you arent" she said. Amara could see the surprise in his face when she was a little flirtatious with him. She couldn't help but chuckle. Her cheeks did turn a bit pink when he replied back with her being kind and caring. "You're too sweet Sebastian" she said before she looked at the flowers. It took her a bit longer than what it would have taken other females, but her eyes landed on something that made a rather large smile appear. Carefully she reached her hands out and grabbed a small boque of red roses with black tips, rather shocked they had any. "I'm surprised they had any" she said as she looked back at Sebastian. ~~~~ Aro shook his head. "I can't see you being anyone different than who you are now" he said before he gave a small sigh. He couldn't understand who would have done anything like that to her, and it rather angered him that it happened. *Why do I feel like this?!* He kept his thoughts to himself, his eyes locked on Lorelei, not letting her know what he was thinking. When she mentioned how her body shut down, he shook his head. "Sounds like you need something to get your mind off of what happened" he replied. He tensed up and closed his eyes when she touched his scar. He pulled away slightly, not used to the touch. It caused him to remember going into battle, feeling the sword the slashed into his face, leaving him nearly blind. Something Amara didn't even know about. "I certainly don't feel very good looking" he said. |

Seb grinned at the blush that was on her cheeks. He knew exactly what to say to make her blush. Of course, he has had experience, something she probably has noticed. He still has to tell her about his past lover, but that will be in a bit or if she ever asks. It just isn't something he likes to bring up as it only brings up sadness and emotions that he has pushed so far down for years. He watched as she looked at all the flowers, but he already knew the ones she was going to pick before she picked them up. She grabbed a small bouquet of red roses with black tips. He remembers her favorite flowers, but he wanted her to pick out what she wanted in case she didn't want those ones for some reason. "Ah, I knew you were going to go for those ones. Or, I was hoping you would." He said, a small laugh leaving his lips. He grabbed some coins from his pocket and paid the shopkeeper, including just a little bit extra as well. "Thank you, doll." He said to the woman before he wrapped his arm around Amara. "Alright, love, is there anywhere else you would like to stop at before we go to the meadow?" ~~~~~~~~ Lor laughed slightly at his comment. Of course, he can't see her as anyone different than she is now. That is only because he knows the now her instead of the then her. If he knew about the past her, he wouldn't even recognize her. He would probably be wondering who the hell she is and what happened the Lorelei that he ended up knowing. Interesting, really, that people don't always want to believe what type of person she used to be. Had he known what happened during her time when she was kidnapped, how would he feel? Angered? Would he want to kill the one person that is still alive that somehow got away? Who knows since he doesn't know the whole truth. "I always need to get my mind off of things but it is kind of hard to do so." She said with a small sigh. She should probably tell him as to why she is still kind of like this. "You know why I still think about this and why it still happens every year?" She asked as she looked up at him. She bit her lip, not wanting him to know since her brother doesn't even know the truth. "Because the man that lead this escaped and is still prowling the streets. Who knows what else he has done since the last time I saw him. Sebastian doesn't even know this and I would like to keep it that way." Her bottom lip trembled slightly, hating how he is still out there and what he could do. She raised a brow when he moved away from her touch ever so slightly. Oh, he wasn't going to let him shy away from her touch so easily. She once again set her hand against his cheek, knowing how foreign it feels when you have a caring and soft touch from someone for the first time in years. "Aro..." She said, turning his head towards her slightly. "You are very good-looking. I certainly don't feel very good-looking. And you know what? We match." She went to the bathroom and grabbed a wet cloth before going back to him. She pulled her hair over to one side, yet nothing was seen. She wiped away the cream makeup she puts on her face to cover something. As she kept wiping, a scar was seen. She made a cream that would cover up her scar from prying eyes and from her seeing it. It went from below her ear to right below her eye. It was very jagged and looked like it was made for her to have it hurt. "Me being good-looking is far from it. As for you, it adds to your personality. It makes you far more good-looking than anyone else out there." |

Amara held the flowers close as she took a long sniff. She was grateful to Sebastian for mentioning to stop at the cart to pick out flowers. With how kind he had been over the past few days, she wondered if he had a former love, but she wasnt sure if she was ready to hear about it if he did. *It's in the past* she thought, reminding herself. Amara watched as the villager was grateful for the coin and the tip, a smile staying on her face. "I was very surprised they had the roses. Did you ask them to go find some" she asked as she looked up at Sebastian. She watched to see what his face would give away. When he asked if there was anywhere else she wanted to go, she shook her head, not able to think of anywhere else. ~~~ Aro grabbed Lorelei's hand when she touched his face again. "Dont" he said. He didnt want to admit that everytime something touched the scar that it stung like the day he got it. He dropped her hand not long after he pulled it away from his face, not having grabbed her hard. He watched as she grabbed a cloth and started to wipe her face, revealing a scar he hadnt seen before. He was a bit surprised she showed him now, but he didnt let his face give that away. The prince shook his head. "I cant be that good looking when everyone refused to look at me after this happened" he said, sounding almost hurt at the memory. Aro gave a sigh before he looked back at Lorelei. "At least you had people willing to look at you, help you. Amara was too young to do much or know what was happening, and the servants looked at me in disgust" he said before he glared to the door, knowing a few were there, whispering to one another about him being out of the room. He knew mentioning that would explain why he was so cold towards them. |

Seb watched as she took a sniff of her flower, knowing that she already loved them without even having to ask her that. He wished that he could give her more, but he doesn't truly know her well enough on what she would like. He doesn't know if she would like jewelry that he would get for her or even just a saddle if she wanted it to. He will have to ask her what other things she likes so he can spoil her whenever he is given the chance to. He would spoil her every day with something if he could, but he has a feeling she wouldn't let him. "Of course not, darling. I was just as surprised as you that they had them." He was telling the honest truth. He would be giving her a whole garden full of roses if he could for her to be truly happy with them. He knew she was happy about these, but he knew she would be happier with a garden full of them. He walked with her down the roads, smiling at everyone that they passed as they continue to be surprised with who their princess is with. "Hey, Amara, we need to talk about something." ~~~~~~~~ Lor understood how it felt having someone touch scars. She remembers her younger sibling doing that because he didn't know any better and he was only a child at the time. She always remembers pushing his curious tiny hands away from his scars, always flinching away because it would only remind her of the pain she endured during the time she was kidnapped. Though, the pain of losing her younger sibling was even more unbearable than the pain that she went through. At least Aro wasn't harsh with grabbing her hand and pulling it away from his face. She remembers when he did it when they met and he was a little rough doing so. She shook her head at his words, knowing exactly what she feels. She went through the same thing until she created the cream that was able to hide the scars from being seen. It was all thanks to the healer that they had in her castle that helped her with creating it as well. "Aro, I know how you feel. I went through the same thing. I was locked away in my room and just as mad at the world and everyone. But I knew that I couldn't live in the darkness of my room for all of eternity." She exampled as she looked at him, her gaze never moving away. "And I didn't have anyone to help. Sure, I had Sebastian, but he didn't help me. No one really did. I didn't want their help as I didn't want them to see my face. The only way for me to help myself was to put myself out there and try and be strong. That is exactly what I did." She understood why he was so cold to the servants as she was the same way or she would always just coldly tell them she would do her own stuff when she wants to without them touching it. "Don't you see, Aro, that we have similar experiences and I know what you are going through? You can rely on me because I would never refuse to turn away from you because of how you look, refuse to help you when you truly need it or even be there for you to lean a shoulder on." She smiled slightly at him, wanting to know there is no chance she is going to hurt him. "I have no interest in ever hurting you, Aro." |

Amara turned to walk to the meadow, keeping a smile on her face as she looked at Sebastian. When he mentioned needing to talk to her, her mind became curious as to what it would have been. It wasnt often someone said that to her, and usually it wasnt the best of things. Her brows furrowed as she looked forward. "Is everything alright" she asked as she heard the sound of the ocean growing louder. Her mind raced a bit as she waited for him to reply, knowing that until they did talk, her mind would only give her unfortunate bad thoughts as to what it could be. She saw the meadow approaching and wondered if he would want to talk there with her since there wouldnt be anyone to disturb them. ~~~ Aro looked away before he spoke. "Did your own father call you a monster" he asked as he crossed his arms. "Because mine did." He hadnt known why his father would have done such a thing, but it was one reason he locked himself away the way he did, not allowing Amara in either to see the monster the servants and his father all seemed to fear. When she mentioned not having any interest in hurting him he sighed. "I dont know if I can trust it" he said shaking his head. "Too many people claim it, yet they still do." He remembered his father paying women to try and "help" him when he first got hurt. They took one look at him and ran. That was one of the first times his father called him a monster, for scaring off women. |

Seb could see how anxious Amara was after he told her that he needs to talk to her about some things. He feels like she has the right to know about certain things. Of course, there will be certain things he won't tell her but will be told to her eventually. Those things were more private and more dear to him than the things that he will be telling her. Some of it might be bad, though a type of bad thing that happened to him rather than things that could cause the two of them to drift away. Besides, him telling her things will also give her more of an insight into who he is rather than her relying on the stories about him. "Hold on just a moment." He said as they came to a place that overlook the ocean. He opened the basket and took the blanket out before laying it on the ground. He set the basket in the middle before taking a seat and extending his hand towards her. "Come. Sit with me, darling." He helped her sit down next to her before letting his gaze towards the ocean. "Nothing too bad about what I want to talk to you. Just something I think you should know rather than you finding out down in the long run and from someone else that isn't me." He said as he shrugged his shoulders as if it wasn't too big of a deal. "One thing I want to talk to you about is that I did have a former lover. You don't have to worry about her though, considering she ended up getting killed not long after Lorelei was rescued." ~~~~~~~~ Lor sighed, her arms crossing her chest as she looked away from her. She bit her bottom lip to prevent it from trembling since she was close to tears. She remembers when both of her parents called her monsters, especially her father. He only sees her as more of a monster due to her ending up getting pregnant from the man that ended up getting her pregnant. That hurt her a lot, especially considering her parents wanted her to get rid of the baby. Even though what happened to her was something she didn't want, the baby was actually one of the best things that ended up happening to her. Her baby was really her saving grace, minus Sebastian. "Of course he did. My mother too." Her brows furrowed together, her mind thinking about her baby. She really needs to check up her to make sure she is doing okay. She had sent for Xander to bring her baby here but take care of her while she couldn't since she doesn't want many people to know let alone find out. That is why her door is locked at night as she care of her little one and she gets up early in the morning to return her back to Xander. She shook her head before she glanced at Aro. "You can trust me. I know how you feel, Aro. That is exactly why I wouldn't ever try to help you." She let a sigh out before dropping her arms to her sides. "Besides, we all have secrets that we hide but don't know if he can trust someone enough to reveal the secret to." |

Amara listened as Sebastian spoke, saying it wasnt bad, she relaxed a little. She hated suspense, but she wasnt about to tell him at. Her blue eyes watched him before she sat down next to him. She did tense up a bit when he mentioned having a former lover, not knowing how to feel about it. When he mentioned her no longer being alive, she looked out towards the ocean. "I'm sorry" she replied. "I cant even pretend to know how that feels" she admitted. She had never found anyone to fall for, at least not until now. "Pretending to know how you feel, when I never had that, I cant even imagine." She looked back at Sebastian as she wondered what was on his mind now. "I was never lucky enough to find someone to feel that way about..." Her voice faded out as she nearly admitted to him her feelings, but she remembered the promise she made to him, causing her to bite her lips a bit. ~~~~~ Aro shook his head. "Sounds like both our parents refused to understand" he said, mostly mumbling under his breath. He knew he refused to see his father anymore, and well, he assumed Amara wouldnt want to see him anymore after he pushed her away for having Lorelei show up there. He looked towards the door before he shook his head, clenching his fist. "Come on" he said, holding his hand out towards Lorelei. "I'm hungry, and I am sure you are too." His voice faultered a bit when he mentioned going to get food, not having gotten food out of his room in a few years now. He wasnt sure what kind of reaction he would be getting knowing that many of the servants were already confused to him being out of his room, heading to her room. |

Sebastian remembered all the good times he had with Lizzy. She was a wonderful person, much like Amara herself. She had such a softness to her and her words were always so gentle. It always made him feel relaxed and comfortable around her. Even with all the weird looks she often got when they went into town since she was a commoner, it didn't make her sunshine of a personality falter. She was quite the woman and he wished she never died. He still wants to know what happened to her, but it has been a few years since that happened and is now just a dead-end at this point. "There's nothing that can really be done about it. It's in the past." He said, his gaze not moving away from the ocean in front of them. "It was a dark place for me during that time. During that and the whole thing with Lorelei being kidnapped is when all the stories you heard about started happening." His brows furrowed, hating how much he let his grief get a hold of him to where he had it end up controlling his actions and whatnot. "I was just so full of rage and grief that I just let it get the best of me." He let a sigh leave his lips, a hand running through his hair. He noticed that she trailed off at the end of her sentence, wondering if there was something more to that than she is letting on. "It was probably for the best since my parents didn't approve considering she was a commoner." There was sadness in his eyes, something that he knows will never go away, especially since that woman was his first love. "Besides, I have another wonderful and beautiful woman that I am going to end up marrying. Her name is Amara." ~~~~~~~~ Lorelei nodded her head in agreement when he mumbled that their parents would never understand them. Her eyes widened when he mentioned food. She opened and closed her mouth but nothing came out, making her look like she is a fish. She didn't even know what to really say since she didn't think he would want to go out. She thought he would just want to go back to his room or something. Though, just by hearing his voice falter, she knows that he wasn't really sure about it. She knew then that he needs her even if he might not admit it. Besides, she really needs to get out of her room even if she doesn't want to. "Alright. One moment. Let me actually make myself look somewhat presentable instead of looking like a washed-up hobo." She said, a small smile playing on her lips as she went to the closet. She didn't exactly want to wear a dress, but she clearly didn't have any pants or shirts that were clean. Seems she will have to do some laundry. "Ridiculous that I have to wear a dress." She grumbled under her breath as she pulled out a dark red dress. Her brows furrowed in slight disgust that she has to wear this. She quickly changed into it, having the dress fit her curves in the right way and hug her frame very well. She quickly grabbed the brush that Aro got her and brushed her hair, getting the knots out of her semi-wavy hair. She didn't even put makeup over the scar on her face. They are doing this together no matter how many stares or comments they get about their appearance.She walked up to him and gently grabbed his hand, an encouraging smile on her face. "I'm here for you. I got you." |
