Rowan was confused, Frost was confused, but that wasn't really anything new. Watching the two faeries look around like hummingbirds made Rowan chuckle a little, although it was still confusing.

The two guards whispered quietly to each other, though they kept up their guard. "Feels like Alvaro, but he never gets angry." The other guard looked around nervously when the guard said this. Both of their marks had begun to glow as the angry faerie passed by.

Arriving at the village, Rowan dismounted and immediately set to work, finding a way to groom Frost and care for any remaining wounds, though Alvaro got most of them. She then made sure he had water and food, and by the time Rowan was done, she was exhausted.

Since Alvaro had up and left the town, Kori was now having to take care of all matters, big or small. And Rowan was unfortunately one of them. It wasn't that she didn't like the child, she just didn't feel like dealing with her after the argument with Alvaro. Kori had been able to hide her anger at the younger faerie all day and as time went on her was really asking for trouble. Kori spotted Rowan immediately and flew down next to her. "It's nice to see you Rowan, I heard about your village and I'm sorry we couldn't get there sooner. I know you must be tired and we prepared one of our ground houses for you, if that's okay of course. I'll lead you to it." Kori gave Rowan a big, fake smile.

Rowan looked at Kori, and her face was one 'you're being fake and I know it.' But she didn't say anything about that, and instead spoke in an rwually game cheerful voice, "No thank you. I can take care of myself - it's just nice to be able to sleep without worrying about being attacked at all sides." Rowan then gracelessly shrugged her shoulders, dropping the voice, "Besides, you're stressed enough and I don't want to contribute to that."

Kori shook her head, this child wouldn't even begin to understand what was happening. The woman's long, curly hair was put up in double dutch braid and fell down to her last rib. Unlike Alvaro, her wings were relatively huge, reaching her feet and was a bright purple-blue in color. They weren't very transparent either, she never could hide her wings. "Oh don't worry Rowan, once Alvaro returns it'll be all right again. The offer still stands, I can walk you to your temporary house."

Rowan stood firm, "I can take care of myself - I'll be perfectly fine." And Rowan would be, because she already found a nice area to bed down, and her folded up jacket would make a nice pillow.

The older faerie almost seemed relieved. And she was, relieved. She still had to check up on all the faeries at the medic's and try to find out where Alvaro was. And all that stuff. Today wasn't going to be fun. "Okay, that's good. As long as you're comfortable Rowan. I must be going now. Things to do and stuff." The woman's fake smile returned and she hopped off the ground and headed straight for the medic's house. A job that Alvaro would normally be doing.
