Jason-19-Solstace-Victoria
"He probably came from the dorms or something, most barns have them. Well, I got to take care of Summer Solstace, see you." Jason that the girl wasn't particularly fond of him. He walked to Solstaces stall, and found him munching on some hay. "Is that good buddy? Hope that those people didn't scare you to much. I got to get back to my dorms, see you later." Before Jason left he gave Solstace a sugar cube and refilled his water. Jason quickly got back to his dorms and found no one there. "I guess I'm going solo for a bit." He said to himself. He wandered around the campus's for a bit, before finding a cafe to eat at.

Skyla lets out a soft yelp of suprise yet again as Lucian whispers to her through the stall door. "Oh! Um... My name is Skyla and this is my mare Iris... You have a good eye. She is a Spanish Norman, though she is 75% andalusian..." She will slip out of the stall and clips the lock shut. " Lunch sounds nice... I need to finish unloading my truck into my dorm later tonight. I don't really have too much with me, though."

Iris will sniff at the man's hand and lips it, begging for treats. Skyla will roll her eyes and waves a hand at her. "She will keep begging like that all day if you let her. She knows her cute face gets her spoiled." She will wave a hand and walks out of the barn. "The cafe is this way, if you didn't know..." She will flush darkly and looks down, not used to talking this much to a stranger.

Kaleb will look up from his trunk and smiles to her. "Ye have good taste then. My Lassie is pure Knabstrupper if the spots didn give her away." He will walk out to give her a few flakes of hay and filled buckets of water. He will head back out to start grabbing his tack out of the trailer, easily hefting his two saddle, bridle bag and dragging his loaded trunk behind him. He will head into the tack room to start arranging and unloading, making sure everything is neat and tidy.

"a knab that tall must be a jumper... and by that trophy sheet she must be a good one... that's actually why I came here with Esie". With a flip of her curly hair over her shoulder she leads the black mare into her stall and settles her up. Muttering sweetnesses to her and giving her extra treats before Ignoring her neighbor and the man talking to her to refocus on the Scott. "You see... Esie is a wonderful dressage mount. Scored an average of 81 last year and average 82 this year so far for the USEF... but she needs to jump to be an eventer.... so I was wondering" she takes a step towards him, looking Kaleb up and down "would you be interested in being 'study partners' when it comes to jump class?".

Lucian watches the whole exchange between these two new students with a bit of a quirked eye brow. Face a little incredulous at how forward the girl from Chicago is. He will whisper to Skyla again. "Seems somebody is rather full of herself..... that was sort of rude to just stall up your horse and not even say hello" with a sigh he looks back to the German and offers another smile, "maybe you showing me where where Cafe is wouldn't be too bad of an idea. Might get us away from the explosions that are about to happen.... since I've jumped against that guy at Lexington.. he's a bit of a... 'personality' if he gets riled up"

Terra Porter-19-Angelica-Kaleb, anyone in the barn

Terra could drive, she just preferred not to. Especially when it wasn't her car. Terra rode in a rental, Angelica riding comfortably in the trailer behind the car. Terra's father had gone overboard. An expensive rental, a fancy trailer; Terra had only arrived in America that morning.
The grounds were beautiful. Terra couldn't help but be reminded of home as she rolled under the large front gate. The driver pulled to a stop in front of one of the barns.

"Do you need any help, miss?" The driver looked like a secret service officer in his suit and sunglasses. Terra found she couldn't ignore the idea of having the man follow her around.

"Just carry my things" Terra's English accent made her sound sophisticated, according to all the Americans Terra had met.
Angelica was calm, but ready to get off the trailer. Terra made sure to keep the mare calm by whispering nonsense the entire time. Angelica wanted to run. But first, Terra had to get Angelica to her stall, to let her settle in.

Terra followed the instructions to her stall, finding that Angelica already had a neighbor. The knabstrupper mare looked calm enough, so Terra had no problem with it being Angelica's neighbor. Angelica fed off of other horses excitement, so wild horses weren't great to be near.

Angelica started on her hay, curtesy of Wolf Bend, as Terra took off Angelica's travel gear. With Angelica happy for the moment, Terra decided to drop off her tack.

"Come, we'll drop off my stuff next." The driver didn't need to be told twice. He quietly followed Terra to the tack room, and helped her find her locker. "That will be all, thank you." The driver nodded, then went back to his car. He still couldn't leave, because Terra still had her personal things in the car. But for now, Terra set to work putting her things away.

There was one other person in the tack room, a boy. He seemed nice enough, so Terra tried to engage in conversation.

"Hello, I'm Terra. Who are you?"

Alina Morrison-18-Quinn-everyone in the barn

Alina was practically bouncing in her seat as her mother drove through the gates to Wolf Bend.

"Alright, dear, we're here." Alina's mother sounded excited, but Alina knew her mother was sad to see Alina go. Alina jumped out of the car, practically running to the trailer. Alina's mother would go get Alina's room key while Alina got Quinn settled in.
Alina opened the trailer door to reveal her big blue roan. Alina was proud of her mare, a large Dutch Warmblood. Quinn seemed completely unfazed by the long car ride.
"Alright, Quinny, let's get you settled." Alina followed the directions to Quinn's stall, then got her mare settled. Next, Alina dropped off her riding stuff in the tack room.

Alina was grabbing her things from the car when her mother returned, helping Alina with her things. Alina had no roommate yet, but that was alright. Alina's mother left, and Alina decided to go socialize in the cafe.

Kaleb will look back to the woman with her black mare and chuckles. "Seems we are here for opposite reasons then. I am already the flying Scotsman and you have never left the ground, lass." He will turn to continue organizing his things in the locker, not even paying attention really to her anymore."Last I checked, the only reason yer test average is so high is because ye have only competed in 3 competitions last year. Hard to mess up if ye practice for 4 months for one test." He will finish tucking his bridles away before looking fully back at Victoria. "So unless ye are wanting te help me with this ground stuff ye love so much, Vicky, I don't think I will have much te do with ya. Good day."

Kaleb will turn around to head out of the room when he is bombarded with yet another woman with all her tack and prim clothes. As soon as she opens her mouth, Kaleb narrows his eyes. Great... Another prissy, rich Brit I have te deal with... He thinks to himself before he slaps on a sort of fake smile to try and be friendly. "Hello, lassie. My name is Kaleb MacRae, the Flying Scotsman. Pleasure te meet you."

Jason ordered a coffee and a scone, and while he was eating it he saw a girl walk, or rather bounce in. "Hey, I'm Jason what's your name?" He asked her "What's your horses name, mine is a black stallion named Solstace. And have you had coffee yet? You seem to be on a caffeine overload." Jason tried not to come on strong, but he knew it sounded really fast and hyper. To save himself from to much embarrassment he took a huge bite of his scone and I the process choked himself, after recovering he said"I'm alright". Before going into another coughing/laughing fit.

After reading the menu the Spaniard will settle on a macchiato and a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. He'll take his seat and will wait for his drink to cool a little more before drinking it. "So... you and that Norman of your's do? I'd assume dressage.. she looks well built for it" , He takes a bite of his breakfast and shrugs. "Dressage is actually what I'm coming here to learn how to do better... I think we're pretty solid on the jumping" Will offer up a smile.. "that... and I may have glanced over at your tack trunk.. you have a western saddle here too right? I brought my jumper and my dressage saddles but for the trails I brought my western set up"

"Wait.. what did you just say to me?!" , Victoria feels her mental hackles go up at the slight and is about to go and give the jerkwad a piece of her mind when she sees him talking to the short woman in the aisle. With a huff and a turn up of her nose she leaves to go back to Esperanta's stall. Busying herself with making sure her water is filled and all the mare's wants are met before taking off her dress sheet. Replacing it with a red and yellow Spanish style stable blanket.

Her mental mutterings will continue as she works on redoing Esie's maintenance braids. Taking especial care to tend the mare's long mane lovingly.

"Solstace is a shire, he's 17 hands. I do jumping and dressage, but I sometimes do driving as a fun activity. I'm from Arizona, I'm guessing you know that's in the US." Jason said through his choking "Can I see Quinn? Is it a mare gelding or stallion? I can take you to see Solstace if you want, he's really friendly for a stallion. " Jason thought this girl was nice, unlike the girl who slipped off into the distance, or the one who was really snotty. Jason threw his napkin and coffee cup in the trash.
