Sunburst gave the shy wold a small, distracted smile and a brief "Good morning Foxglove." He nodded respectfully to Lillian before briskly heading off after the alpha. He walked a little ways behind Frostbite as he waited at the entrance of the camp. The air was crisp and invigorating in his lungs.

If only it was that easy. But the fresh air and exercise made him feel better. More free. He started towards the far edge of their territory, flanking Frostbite from a good few feet away. He moved quietly and quickly, periodically scenting the air for any rival wolves and staying alert. They were nearing the territory tge Outcasts had claimed, if he was correct. Hopefully they'd have the sense keep to themselves and not bother them.

She dropped her pricked ears and bowed to the Alpha female "How are you?" She asked Lillian politely. She focused half her attention sadly on the spot where the two wolves disappeared. She longed to go ventured but she was too afraid of Frostbite and too afraid of conflict and too afraid that Sunburst would look at her. Yes Sunburst the most beautiful and handsome wolf Fox glove had ever seen .... She blinked and stopped daydreaming about Sunburst and looked at Lillian

Frostbite looked at Sunburst."Why don't you check the border first..." He slowly said. He wanted to bring out the skills of the wolf so he could figure if he was good " Check out the border, I will be back " he quickly added, a few seconds after . With that he walked off to another clearing where he washed himself in the river and hoped Sunburst was being good. After he had cleaned himself, he spied in Sunburst through some thick thorn bushes. Frostbite smiled to himself.

Obsidian decided to hunt again once he had filled his belly l, refreshed himself and groomed himself. He got up and bounded off into the trees. He chased mutiply rabbits yet the one he caught. He sprung on a rabbit but just fell into the border. Obsidian quickly got up with the rabbit in jaws and stared in fear and worry at the wolf (Sunburst) on the other side of the border. "Sorry mate! Not that awake today like you..Never seen you before ..What's your name? Mine is Obsidian.." he barked cheerfully hoping that the wolf wasn't mad at him or disliked him because did who he loved.

Lillian looked at the wolf in front of her"i am good,How are you today Fox glove"She watched the she wolf as her eyes looked at were sunburst and frostbite had just been she smiled to herself a bit knowing that she had her eyes on sunburst for a long time she slowly drifted into her own mind thinking of hunting with frostbite later in the day.

Sunburst drew back from the strange wolf, showing his teeth in an uneasy snarl. He didn't smell like any of the packs around, which he guessed was why he hadn't noticed his scent before. The grey and black speckled wolf seemed friendy enough. His thoughts of Frostbite faded a little bit, but he had a feeling he was watching this interraction. Twsting his loyalty. Anyway, Sunburst wasn't taking any chances. "Obsidian, eh? What do you think you're doing in Beartooth territory?" The beta asked sharply, all authority and bared teeth. His tone wavered on the edge of a growl. He was either a rogue, or he could be one of the Outcasts - Sunburst was suddenly acutely aware how close they were to the border of Outcast territory.

His eyes narrowed further with suspicion. He looked strong, Sunburst would usually be hesitant to fight him alone. The reassurance of a patrol team was comforting to him even when taking down easy prey. But the push to impress Frostbite was hard to ignore. He saw him watching in the brush close by, his vivid yellow eyes glinting proudly against his deep black coat. Another rush of adrenaline. He'd be completely humiliated if he had to step in to help.

Obsidan stood up on his side of the border and repeated "Sorry as I said I am not awake today... Obsidian gulped the wolf didn't look friendly at all he then hastily added " For the trouble you can have the rabbit as I caught it on your side of the border eh?" He relaxed his shoulders and tried to whiten his still wagging tail but it was no use it wouldn't stop. The fat rabbit was still dangling heavily in his jaws. He awaited in anxious worry....

Foxglove blinked...One of the alphas had talked to her! One of her meme era of her pack talked to her and Asked her how she was. She slowly. She slowly replied " I am good.......Um it is great weather today isn't it?" Foxglove's heart was beating rapidly inside she was beginning to run out of sentence options and conversation openers. She twitched her nose and ears and eyes. This was going to end up awkward..

Lillian looked at fox as she replied"Yes it is great wether today"She could see how nervous fox was just by looking at the way she reacted to her saying something she sat letting the wind blow through her fur softly

Foxglove looked at the alpha female, just casually sitting by her. She relaxed a little and tried to smile by nothing came out of it. She was grateful for the company especially of a higher rank. "Would you like a rabbit Lillian?" She asked, offering a limp rabbit that she caught wondering about in her den early morning.Offering prey seemed to be the only thing, that Fox could show her gratitude by.

Obsidian put the rabbit by Sunburst's paws and smiled,still wagging his tail. " There Sunburst, Now go trot off to your master,He is awaiting you" Obsdisn grinned. He caught a rabbit this time just by the border and then sat down by the border to gnaw on it's old bones. He wanted to see how this plannned out.

He had crossed the border twice, and once in purpose. He knew he was in trouble but he couldn't help wagging his tail and grinning.

Frostbite cleaned his paws and looked up. The little cheek, The Outcast crossed the border twice. He just hoped Sunburst would give him a send off. During that brief second,Frostbite began to hate that stupid grin. He watched and waited for something to happen. A few more minutes and if nothing happened. If that outcast was still there he would send him off himself.
