I'll give it a shot, that does sound like something that is happening. I restart my computer and explore runs smoother sometimes which would explain it. Is it a particular cache or just general browser cache?

Most likely reason is that all the screen updating is causing a bottleneck in your browser. It happens to me sometimes. I clear the cache and it fixes it.
