I won't lie I've seen multiple dogs die when they've had a litter under 2 their bodies aren't mature enough for it at all and got infections and died as did the pups

Ive fostered 11 girls and I'll say that the biggest concerns are neglect and aggression. But of course its good to just keep an eye on them

My foster was unfortunately 9 months old and we had to bottle feed and separate the pups because she was aggressive and confused.

If a dog has puppies before the one year (or two year) mark, there can be complications like Dystocia and Eclampsia. Im not a vet, but I used to foster dogs under 3 years old
