small hands gripping a language

In classrooms, their voices bloomed
like iron flowers—
sharp, closed to me.

I learned silence first.
Then loneliness.
Then how shadows can feel like home.

Neglected, I became
a ghost with a foreign heartbeat,
a boy whose name
no tongue bothered to cradle.

Still, I carried myself forward—
a quiet survivor
in a world that never looked back.

Not a rhyme scheme but It's my story so It's meaningful </3
