I would assume it's 100% related. Growing up, I had the same type of nightmare every night for no reason that has me in a way traumatized of tornadoes and I mean literally every single night. But I would never have it when I was in a different town or even just a different house. Could also be that my childhood home is well known within the family for being haunted, but you know.

I wouldn't call them nightmares exacly but they were kinda silly and scarry at the same time
Like getting chased around the shopping mall by a t-rex or getting chased around school by a tiny tornado
