A lone wolf sat on a large rock that was connected to his den. The view was beautiful, quiet and fantasy-like. Something that is too gorgeous to even exist in a world like this. In a world so cruel...The moon beamed with a faint, almost translucent glow. The stars staying by their mother, making her look pretty in the lonely dark sky.

The wolf lifted his muzzle into the sky and let out a sorrowful howl. The howl started out as low and quiet and ended up being loud and higher. After a few minuets of howling, the wolf stopped, head lowered once more and silence taking over.
