Give your hear to someone is like walking on a thin line hung in the air. Sometimes you fall, or sometimes you make it to the other side with no injuries. Those are those good love stories every one wants to hear. Too bad, she didn't have one. And maybe, that was ok. Because she learned that things don't always go to plan...
Did you ever fall for someone you know you shouldn't? You try so hard to fight your feelings, but you just couldn't? You fall deeper with every passing day. But try to hide it every way possible? He's only a friend, you tell yourself over and over.. That's a lie, on the outside he's just a friend but on the inside, with every passing day, you fall deeper. How long do you have to pretend? He said. She sighed and glanced away muttering a Fine. He nodded and started trotting to the edge of the border. As wolves, her pack did not allow stepping across borders to other territories, but she loves ōkami. She trotted after him ad the met on the road.
She smiled lightly as she could finally touch him. She pressed her nose to his pelt and breathed in his pelt, taking in his scent. He did the same to hr. She was a small wolf, she could easily be dominated. She leaned back from him as a familiar gas like smell filled her nose. She looked around as she saw the glimmer of a car coming towards them. She jumped back and looked to him. "ōkami! Get out of the wa-" She was too late.
The car hit his body brushing him. It drove off like nothing. She stared at the crushed body. She could feel tears sting her eyes. Love was stupid, love was pointless. Love was.. Heart shattering..
