Biography
Mistheart was born into the Moonwalkers band. The Moonwalkers was a tough, sly band who relied on stealth and trickery to win a fight, unlike the Red Shadow band, who relied on courage and strength. Life in this band was tough for a kind-hearted wolf like Mistheart, because all of her fellow pup friends were rather cold hearted, and played mean tricked on her without the least bit of remorse. But this didnÂÂ’t deter her from becoming one of the best wolves in the pack. She excelled in sneaking up to prey and killing it with one blow. One day, she was out practicing her moves when she got tangled up with a badger. It caught her by surprise, and managed to bite her paw before she killed it. She tried to move on three legs, but couldnÂÂ’t climb up the rock she used to get down. Stuck, she waited for more badgers or foxes to come. But in the end, it was not a fox or a badger who came, but a wolf. He healed her, and she wanted to thank him, but, remembering that he was from the Red Shadow band, the Moonwalkers enemies, she decided to just leave. But she couldnÂÂ’t just leave, so she slipped him a note telling him to meet her at midnight. That way she could decide if she wanted to meet him or not. Back in the band, she returned to the naming ceremony of the pups. Her earlier name was Pup 44, but the leader of the band named her Mistheart, “for the warm, kind heart she used to have that was changed into the vicious, cold hearted one of today”, as the leader said. His words horrified her. Was she really becoming cold-hearted, like her evil father Blade? Scared, she ran away, straight into the wolf who had helped her. She decided to talk with him, and he told her his name was Flame. They started talking, and didnÂÂ’t stop until the next morning. A few secret meetings with him later, she realized how he brought out the best in her, and how when she was with him she felt like she could finally be the wolf she wanted to be, not the cold-hearted ghost like her father. She was about to confess her feelings when Flame suddenly said he liked her. Elated, she told him she also liked him. She offered that they run away together, but Flame wanted to stay with his family. She was ok with that, but eventually, they did end up running away, and started Twilight Moon Forest. With this pack, Mistheart finally got the happy life she deserved.

| Personality
On the outside, Mistheart is a sharp, quick-witted wolf with a cold heart, as a result of her harsh pup life. Deep inside, though, she is affable and affectionate (especially to Flame). She doesn't like hunting that much, and prefers to be the one who plans the moves for the other wolves, although if she wants to, she is a great and skilled hunter. She exposes her deeper emotions when she's with Flame, or with her pups. She is fiercely proud of her pups, and it was a great blow to her when her daughter Sage died. Mistheart is very choosy with her friends, as her feelings are locked away in a book, as the wolves describe it. But when you do get to know her, you will be suprised by how compassionate she is.
Preferences
Although her favored daughter Sage died, she had another litter, and Fauna came along to ease the pain of Sage's death. Mistheart is determined to make Fauna as good an Alpha as she was. She doesn't show a lot of affection to her, as Sage's death has made her wary of showing love to her pups, or any wolf, for that matter. But she shows her affection to Fauna by training her aside from her normal apprentice mentoring (although Sapphire does such a good job that Fauna doesn't need it). Mistheart is making sure that Fauna won't be killed by a loner when she is Alpha, as it goes with wolves. Mistheart feels as if she has failed Sage by not training her well enough, although it is anything but her fault. Although no one will replace Sage, Fauna is as close as it will get to receiving the same affection from Mistheart.
Special Skills
Mistheart has a talent of finding things while exploring. She is almost always the one finding Mushrooms or digging up relics. Her ability's are only rivaled by Sapphire. Also, Mistheart is a very good howler, and is bested only by Graphite.
Status
Retired. Mistheart will no longer be on Explore teams, although she may come if she chooses. She will still remain alpha, along with Flame. Her role, Explorer, will pass on to Fyre.
