Lion raced through the turmoil, a blur of black and brown, of flashing teeth and swiping claws.
The metallic stench of blood filled his nostrils, overpowering him, driving him, and fueling his anger like paper does a flame.
One fell, then another. A third hit the ground beneath Lion. They had said he couldn't do it. Said he would never achieve anything. But, where is he now? Standing at the top.
