She wandered for days, the young wolf has lost sight of her pack. She had ventured a bit too far searching for small prey...

Kelila, daughter of Rakhi, was one of the first to be born into The Forgotten pack. She was special so much so her mother thought she was the perfect daughter. However, Kelila, seemed to always get into trouble with the Alpha's. She never listened to their command and would often get lost. Even as a pup.

But, Vardgas had an idea. Purposefully he took the young wolves and older pups out for training. Kelila strolled along being among one of the older of the trainees she was in charge of watching the rear. But of course he knew she would fall short. Naiche was watching from afar. One of the packs most experienced battle wolves.

Their plan was to let her wander off, then take the pups to the meadow, where they could chase after bugs and small rodents. Naiche would follow from a distance, watching her every move to make sure she was safe.

Kelila ran and jumped around, feeling the wind rush through her fur. It was a warm summer day but fairly windy. All she wanted was to prove herself. Prove herself to the Elders and the Battle Wolves that she was a contender. She could survive on her own. Alas, the days came and went. She had only been able to find a few mice and a rotten deer leg. Which the black bear that came charging after her seemed too fond of the rotten meat.

She sighed and lapped water at a near by stream. She looked up towards the sky and gave a desperate howl. She called out for help, for distress. She needed her family. What Kelila didn't expect was the howl that came from a few yards away.

"Naiche!! Is it really you?!"

"Yes young one," he placed a fresh muskrat at her feet. "Eat, drink and rest. For we have a long journey home."

"If you have been with me this whole time... why did you not speak sooner?"

"It was for your own good. We all have phases in our lives we have to live through. The Alphas, and your mother, wanted you to learn to depend on the pack and why we never stray far. We are days walking distance young one. Lucky for us I know these woods well. Come. Let us go home."

Naiche turned after flashing her a smile, "We need to work on your hunting skills young one."

She followed him graciously. Staying silent for most of the journey home. From then on she was truly the perfect daughter and pack member.
