Biography There was a forest, as usual. Nothing made this one special. There was a woman, also common. She had children in a shack in this forest. Five of them, and two beds. She slept on the floor. When the eldest son was old enough to leave, and also too big to share a bed or the floor, she told him to leave. This happened with all of them until the youngest daughter, Fara, was old enough to leave. Her and her mother lived together in the shack for years, until she had come of age. Fara didn't know what the special treatment was for until one day, her mother took her outside. The day was autumn, chill and slightly windy, a breeze making her hazelnut hair flutter. Directly in front of her was thick forested land, and coming out from behind the trees was a man. He walked strangely, gracefully, like he wasn't human. His face was all points, his pale hair tied back into a bun and braids, some of which still hung down. His skin almost appeared to be green. "You... have you come to collect?" Her mother whispered. Despite his distance, he seemed to hear her anyway. Nodding, he came closer. "Obviously. Quite the reward, too." He was eyeing Fara in a way that made her cringe back, closer to her mother, who in response to a step away from her. Like she was trying to distance herself from the decision she had made. The green forest man raised up a hand, and chirped, "well, farewell!" Then Fara had no vision and felt like she was floating, spinning around in a space with no pressure, feeling ill, scared, she tried to reach out her hands to grab something-anything- but nothing was there, she was surround by emptine- *Thump*. She was in dirt. Opening her eyes, Fara noted that the lights were only from fireflies. The forest man was in front of her, and she started to cry.
