Biography
Abruzzo came to the Wolves of Time with conquest in mind. He traced the trail of hopefuls that had slunk away from the pack, defeated. When he found the Wolves of Time he saw the strength of the pack and knew it could be his. He saw Mennen, Alpha, how his advances upon Elhana, Alpha after her mother died, were spurned (to keep the bloodline pure), and knew that the time of challenges in the dark and blood steaming on the snow had come.
Though Abruzzo was of an age with Mennen he was larger than that wolf and was burning with a wolf's desire.
He challenged Mennen, and the long-time Alpha of the Wolves of Time accepted the challenge with a frothing roar.
The battle was long, but Abruzzo put Mennen down into the bloody snow with his teeth in the fur of Mennen's soft throat.
The night was his.
Against Mennen, anyway.
Abruzzo snapped at the Betas, Kubrat and Elsinor, when they drew too close with bared teeth, and then again at the lower Omegas when they did the same. The lovely Elhana watched on from a distance, her eyes cool and curious.
'Have I not done enough?' He implored. 'Is this not all I could do?'
'No. I am a princess, now queen of my pack. You must prove yourself worthy of one such as I, the queen of the Wolves of Time. Through me the lines the fate of this pack will be drawn forward throughout history. Why are you worthy of such a right?'
'I have defeated your father through righteous combat and have proven stronger than him, so will my pups be. Is that not enough?'
'No. I am protector of my pack. You must prove yourself worthy of one such as I, the guardian of the Wolves of Time. Through me my pack's rites and traditions will stand against the greatest the trials of time. Why are you worthy of such an honor?'
'I have traveled far and fought many foes - I know of tradtion as any wolf can. Is that not enough?'
'No. I am a wolf alone, with a heart and a mind. Why are you worthy of me?'
'I loved you when I saw you. Is that not enough?'
Elhana smiled the smile of one who knew sweet talk when they heard it.
They went from there.
Abruzzo had once been ruled pack of his own a long, long time ago. It was so long ago that names and faces of the wolves he had known and the female he had pursued were all but a blurred memory. Even how he had lost that pack was gone, a shadow of red bloodshed and youthful ambition.
Dealing with this new pack brought back familiar feelings, but aside from that Abruzzo discovered that the Wolves of Time were something different altogether.
When Abruzzo had come to the pack he looked to rule each and every one of the wolves there as he saw fit. But the pack was still grieving the loss of half of the Alpha Pair that had started the pack. The presence of the old Alpha Male also ground his nerves down, so he made a habit of snapping at Mennen whenever he saw him. It bothered him that he could not force the wolf to leave the pack since Elhana, who was even larger than he was and clearly trained in the ways of fighting, would glare at him if he even appeared to be thinking of taking a driving stance at the disgraced leader.
He would snap at her too, but she was far stronger than he was, and he knew that sweetness would entice her closer than his teeth.
He knew that she saw through his sweet words and occasional sweet gestures. She had him anyway.
Their first pups sparked a wildfire of joy inside of Abruzzo. In them he saw himself living until the ends of the wilds, leaders and challengers like him.
He hoped he could live much longer to sire more pups like himself and to teach them into adulthood. A part of him suspected that under Elhana's tutelage they may turn out as strange as the rest of the pack was. Even so, he also thought that they may turn out as strange anyway. It couldn't be so terrible.

Coarse and controlling, quick to anger, strong despite his age. He would like to keep a leash on Elhana but she knows her station and she knows very well that it is above his. He can sweet talk as well as any wolf with experience can.
Preferences
To keep all of the Wolves of Time under an iron paw.
Special Skills
Abruzzo excels single combat, the sort of traditional challenging between wolves for leadership or rights. His prowess comes from having engaged many challengers over his long years.
