Biography
Splotchpup and Brownpup were asleep beside her. Greenpup was awake wondering. Her grandmother, Smokyfire, had come from a line of many boosts and defects. Their father, had come from a line of many boosts and defects. Was it because of their grandfather's line that only Greenpup had a boost or a defect? Greenpup was a Gaelic Blood, which had meant, as her mother, Silvernight, had explained to her that she had twice the chance of anyone else to be lucky. She also looked different. She had a dark brown pelt with a glowing green belly. Hence the name, Greenpup. Greenpup wondered if she would be called Greenbelly or Greenlight once she was old enough to receive her full name. Splotchpup and Brownpup were nearly identical except Splotchpup had a couple of gray spots down his side and front. "Greenpup, are you awake?" Her mother, Silvernight, asked from the den entrance. When Greenpup nodded, she beckoned to her. "I've received a message from our ancestors. When any wolf gives birth to a dark brown she wolf in this pack, you must name her Brokenpup. I can't tell you why, but it could save the pack in the future." Greenpup nodded. "I'll do my best." She vowed. She had no idea why, or what it would mean to her mother and uncle. "One last thing." Her mother warned. If you're about to die and Brokenpup hasn't been found, tell one of your children this." Greenpup nodded. "I wish you luck, Green Lantern, Silvernight whispered and then walked away. Greenpup had no idea what she would be for both the pack and the future.
