| I think the worst things my parents have used on dogs is a cattle prod and a whip also for cattle but that's because the dogs in question was attacking a cow or one the horses we used to have |

| @Eci You see, that's where it gets tricky. I know of people who use prong collars for intimidation purposes towards strangers even though you can see obvious signs of fur loss and indentations on the dog's neck from constant pulling. THAT'S when I get pissed. E-collars don't bother me as much, especially ones with invisible fences. |

| I've seen shock collars used responsibly as a training aid but I'm definitely against people who use it 24/7 on the highest settings. I'm also though not super experienced with dog care so obviously always do your research. I'm a cat person first and foremost lol |

| I use a prong collar and an e-collar on my dog. He's fine. Gets to be off leash despite being reactive because it helps us communicate and manage his reactions. I definitely respect the hatred of shock collars. Just super glad e-collars aren't the same thing at all. |

| we have to muzzle sif for vet appointments but its different I think(?). His muzzle just makes it so he can't nip or bite. He still wears a harness and a collar for leash purposes, but its never connected to his head. |
