Biography
Silver Tongue, as a pup, was simply known as Silver, named so for his coat. He lived with a nice pack, but they got crowded now and then, and Silver simply couldn't handle being stuck in the back of a stuffy den. So he would lie to sneak out during the day, and slip out unnoticed by night. Soon he could tell falsities with ease, and no wolf could get him to help with anything. The Alpha then confronted him, and Silver brushed him off.

"How /dare/ you turn your back on me!" the Alpha snarled.
Silver sat and looked over his shoulder. "How dare I? I'm sorry, but I don't do dares."
The Alpha rose to his full height and walked, stiff-legged, right up to Silver and forced him to look at his enraged features.
"Anger doesn't suit you," he murmured, unfazed.
The Alpha snapped his teeth closed an inch from Silver's ear. "You sleep and eat with this pack, and as long as you do so you will do as I say," he snarled menacingly.
Silver flicked an ear, eyes hard. "I'm sure you have some grand plan to back your theory?" he sneered. "If I'm not welcome here then I'll be taking my leave." He stood and made his exit. A lithe she-wolf ran after him, whining.
"Silver what happened? Why won't you stay with us?" his mother pleaded.
Silver rolled his eyes and refused to look at her. "I have no use for any of you."

After that Silver told every wolf he met to call him Silver Tongue, and it aroused curiosity in Craft, who always did like an interesting wolf. He scouted around and found Silver Tongue sleeping like a pup in a pile of leaves. He resisted the strong temptation to pounce on the young wolf and demand why he was on their territory, and jabbed him awake instead. Silver Tongue woke up at his own pace, which was the only speed he had ever lived by. He told Craft of his past, sensing this wolf with the piercing green eyes was not to be trifled with.

As Silver finished, Craft shook his head in irritation. "That's not the way to do it," he growled. "You could've gotten a good grip around his neck when he came up to you."
Silver blinked, mildly surprised. But then, he had known there was something odd about this wolf. "I don't think it occurred to either of us that that was a possibility." he replied smoothly.
Craft lifted his lip. "Do you even know how to fight?"
Silver's hackles rose. "Of course, what do you take me for, a deer?" he snapped, which was a bad idea.
Craft was on him in a flash of red, and the only thing that saved him from immediate death was his scruff. It weren't as thick, Craft would have easily sunk his teeth in and broken his neck. As it was, Silver fell slack, terror pulsing through him. After a few cold, silent moments Craft let go of him and flicked his tail in disgust.
"Clever Silver Tongue, aren't you?" he sneered, his teeth tipped in the younger wolf's blood. "Don't challenge me again until you're ready."
"I ne-" Silver stopped before he got himself in another headlock. "May I follow you?" he asked instead, lowering his head in earned respect.
Craft wrinkled his nose. "You told me you don't like crowds, pup, so not unless you listen carefully to my Alphas." he said sharply.
Silver dipped his head. "If that is what it takes."

| Personality
Silver is like a snake, slithering out of bad spots and always getting himself into better light. Backstabbing is a part of him, and it would take him a very long time to overcome it, if he or some other wolf were determined to knock it out of him. Thankfully, none of his packmates want to knock anything out of him, and he's too self-centered to believe he has to change. If you were one of his victims, then you deserved it. And that's how it is with his relationships, in the pack and outside of it. Ultimately, his pack comes first, since he has wanted to beat Craft since the day he met him. Craft is the sole thing binding him to one place. All other things come and go. If he ever found love, it would be incompatible with his drive to see Craft acknowledging him as better. As it is such, Silver is very determined to get what he wants. If he wants a deer, he will spend all day hunting. If he wants a mate, he will search the world for her. It is a shame that such focus would be wasted on the downfall of a packmate.
