Backstory:
As he was born to a large pack, Ash was overwhelmed as a pup and later just straight up ignored when new pups needed care. Not minding, he spent most of his free time padding along the borders with a mind trained on what land lay past the pack's borders.
Often he found himself creeping along the trees past the scent markers and as time went on, he even spent nights sperate from his pack. On one of these nights, he scented new wolves. Not caring to meet them out of his territory, to ran as stealthily as he could to the border before calling out a greeting laced with warning.
The wolf who called back was a lovely young she-wolf who met his warning with such confidence he half assumed she was already an alpha. He felt his heart sink for only a moment before the others followed her. When her parents spoke of their pack settling down, he dipped his head in response before they went their separate ways.
Not long after, Ash met the she-wolf again and this time they introduced themselves and made plans to meet later on. Soon, Ash began asking about the land her family had passed on the way there and she spoke fiercely about the dangers they defeated and trust they had.
As the leaves began growing and the flower buds opened, they spoke of traveling together. Shortly, however, Ash began drifting away due to being on more hunting patrols as hunters stole their land and prey. The fateful day came where his pack had to leave and he rushed to the border only to find Honey's fading scent.
Luck was on his side just once and after following her scent for a few days, it grew stronger and stronger until he finally found her. Overjoyed, he swore to never leave her side and to this day, he tells her he loves her from then to the end of everything.

Ashflame is a wolf dedicated to caring for his family whatever it takes, whether an extra hunt or even his death. His one true love, Honeysight, is his sole reason for living and he will happily follow his skills in battle, knowing they far surpass his.
While he didn't get the chance to help out with his pups as much as he wanted, he makes a point to play with every pup or packmate who wishes to play. He is very clearly the father and grandfather of the pack and he is very happy about it.
