| My cousin has a GSD that bites people at random, and once he tried to bite me, but I thumped him on the nose, and he's been my buddy ever since. |

| Poe Oh absolutley. They're not reliable dogs. Very reactive, very prone to feeding off of emotions and--there's a lot that goes into owning one. Especially if you get the proper health testing done, the proper background checks, vet insurances, etc. It takes a lot to get a GSD |

| I have to be honest, IÂ’ve been working in the animal field for a few years now, and I have never had a good experience with a GSD. IÂ’ve also heard from friends in the same line of work that usually the dogs are unpredictable. |

| @Nux Okay, thank you. There's also the fact that my grandma (who is still able to walk, run, etc. despite her age), is also a member of the household, and maybe that would be a good way to keep us safe should anything happen, God forbid. |

| Nux we have a 4 year old german shepard husky mix(he's a rescue) and we're starting training soon for obedience training with the eventual goal of protection training for that same reason. Our neighborhood isn't safe and with being such a high energy breed he needs walks but I don't feel comfortable walking him alone, I'm his main caretaker since I'm home most days of the week while my mother in law and partner work. I'm really excited for his training, I know he will benefit so much from frequent walks and even just the work it takes to get trained. He's a super smart boy. |
