Eros breathed in the warm spring air. He had lived his whole life, without a mate. He had only ever had three friends... His three best friends. And he would never forget them. Now, standing on a cliff above the green valley, he felt at peace. Nineteen years went by far too quickly. But as the pink cherry blossoms fell around him, he knew he was ready to leave this world. And so, he lay down, and watched the crystal blue sky, the forest bursting with life, and the birds... Flying in their freedom. He knew, that like them... He was free.
