Biography
From the moment Dhalia was born, she found herself in the company of strong and courageous wolves: her mother; Angelica, her older cousin; Sol, and her grandparents; Courage and Valor. Dhalia looked up to Sol as a role model. She constantly wanted to be around Sol, frequently accompanying Sol while the older wolf trained for battle and learned the healing arts. While Sol often found the pup to be annoying, it pleased her to know that someone looked up to her.
The highlights of Dhalia's childhood were the times when she would accompany the hunting party. Dhalia loved exploring and getting to see the wild world beyond the dens. These expeditions were not all happiness, though. The forest, swamp, and jungle, Dhalia quickly learned, were places filled with both excitement and danger. Dhalia had to watch the wolves she loved get attacked by terrifying beasts. Dhalia saw how valiantly the wolves fought to rid the land of wicked creatures. Even at the camp she could see the effects of battle. She saw the wounds the older wolves had received while fighting. They never tried to conceal the harshness of battle from Dhalia. It grieved the pup to see her friends get injured, but she was proud that her pack was so brave.
When Dhalia had grown, she was allowed to join the hunting parties as an official explorer wolf. What she had once spectated she now experience. The wounds and scratches she had seen marring her elders' back soon ended up on her own, and she learned the pain of having to recover from battle injuries. In all this, however, Dhalia did not become discouraged. She continued to join the hunting parties at any opportunity.
