A shadowy, grey faded brute stalked within the shadows, his pelt blending into them, drifting in and out of them as if he was a shadow himself, his ears poised as his long claws made no sound upon the earth. His deep royal blue eye glowed within the shadows as the other half of his face was burnt tremendously as his other eye was paled into a moon like white that flashed in its emotionless dead blindness.
He stalked through the forest silently, the large brute almost bear sized as his nose twitched with the faint scent of rabbit. he lowered his large head, fur spiking as his eyes gleamed hungrily his fangs protruding from his jaws as they glimmered in the darkness, his eyes focused as he followed the scent with a blood thirsty gaze, his stomach rumbling in the same hunger that showed through his one deep trench blue eye. The large brute growled as the scent of another wolf faded in, his ears perking, eyes flashing as his lips pealed back in a gruesomely terrifying way as his sabers flashed and claws worked into the earth for a minuet. he padded quicker through the forest, his eyes narrowed as his paws were still silent. As his ears flicked and his nose twitched he had caught a scent on the breeze as he got closer to the scene, the suffocating irony scent of blood that made his inners crave the taste of it more.
he clenched his jaws together as he thought with a hint of anger through his frustration, a low growl escaping his throat and jaws as he thought another wolf might have gotten it, taken it before he could. his muzzle wrinkled in disgust and just as the breeze stirred his fur, it carried his forest fire, Smokey scent across the horizon and through the trees, it had been stained that way as he was a pup for the same reason he was patched in unsightly burn scars and a dead eye.
A Night shaded she wolf padded through the shadows, her sleek pelt glimmering against lean body as her bright orange slitted eyes flashed towards her brother as she licked her chops. The Large moon splashed male, almost the size of a bear, his fangs protruded from his jaws in glimmering sabers as his burn scars seemed to be indenting into his body, but the worst one of all was of the left of his face, I curved around his ear, over his moon colored, lifeless eye, all the way down to the middle of his neck and out to his shoulder, the other half of his face a concentrated, serious intimidating look with his one deep trench blue eye that glowed brighter than his scars did against his pelt.
The dark she wolfs almost unreadable seeming orange slitted eyes drifted to her brother, her voice like a soft distant thunder with just a hint of a deadly, un-trustable slyness, "anything yet?" her voice like a mischievous whisper. The large intimidating males low voice rumbled like a thunder boom as his ears flicked, "water." The dark sleek she wolf flicked her ears up, head low and eyes narrowed as her ears flicked to the sound of rushing water ahead... a river. she growled lowly, "that's not food. I'm hungry." she snapped as the large scard up male towered over her, his growl low and threatening, "food needs water. we find water, we find food." The she wolf lowered her head with a frustrated look and flicked her ears back in silence then hissed lowly in her whisper, "right."The two shady wolves trotted quickly and silently towards the sound of the river, The black she wolf having her muzzle to the ground as she flared her nostrils for any sign of scents available, her ears shoved forward alertly and slender paws moving quickly and eyes glowing forward. The Large burn scard male kept his large head low, the thick fur along his shoulders spiking as his one deep blue eye gleamed as his moon colored eye flashed like a small moon upon a dark winter night. As they neared the rushing river, the sound became louder and more ferocious, thundering in their ears as the dark pine forest faded out into a rocky river bed, the river rushing strongly. the large male spoke lowly, "we'll have to keep our senses sharp as we head down stream, its too rough for prey at this end." the dark she wolf nodded as they continued through, it hard to keep silent as their claws scraped across the stones and rocks but it was easily covered by the sound of the rushing river.

A large grey and black moonsplashed male crept out of the alphas den, the sunrise lighting his fur as it splashed over the camp gloriously. His large heavy paws drew his body from the den as he silently padded across camp, his head and tail nobily raised high as no other creature stirred, all wolves in this anchient place still deeply asleep.
He padded up to the cliffs edge, the suns scarlet rays tinting the grasses a reddish golden and the river beyond that, a bright crimson as his deep royal blue gaze scanned his territory as the frosty morning breeze of autumn stirred his moon colored fur. his large set of antlers gleamed in the sunlight and made him seem larger of a wolf, his large claws stopped clinking the stone as he stood tall, breathing deeply to take in the scents that crossed his wonderous territory.
As the sun ever so slowly warmed his pelt between the chills of the breeze through his thick fur, he shifted his gaze to the land beyond, his gaze scanning across the border as he watched from his peek, slight wonder filling his deep blue gaze as he questioned in thought, was there change to come to the territories? he was frozen, staring towards the area i thought, not sure he wanted things to change.
His thoughts were inturrupted by the pitter-patter of paws. he flicked an ear back but kept his gaze forward, his mind although on the small pitter patter of mini paws that seemed to be clumsily echoing closer as he watched the herd of deer carelessly grazing in the field, so far away that they seemed like little dots almost. The little paws stopped right next to him, he was able to feel the little bodies heat as the pup shook, his little jaws chattering as he spoke,"h-h-hi A-a-alpha!" The large alpha huffed and his voice lowered, "quiet, the pack needs thier rest if you want a decient meal today." The small pup looked down with a whisper, pinning his ears,"oh... sorry."

Balder took his blue gaze off of the horizon to shift it towards the pup, the pup having a grey, black, and white faded pelt that was almost unseeable through his grousome burn scars, his one blue eye looking up at balder as his one white blind eye remained stationary. Balder spoke softly, "what is it, son?" The pups small tail patted the ground,"i just wanted to sit with you... i-is that ok?" Balder chuckled softly,"of course it is."
Balder shifted his deep blue gaze to the horizon once more, the pup following his gaze as he looked off with him in silence for a while until his little screachy voice echoed loudly,"whatcha looking at!?" Balder blinked in annoyance, the little voice so loud and sudden it probably scared off all the prey in the forests for miles around. He chuckled,"shh." he gaze the pup a stern look. The pup shrunk at his fathers stern but amused gaze and put up a small smile with a whisper,"what are you looking at?" he repeated alot quieter. Balder smiled and looked out at the land,"well, the territory."
The pup tilted his little head and scrunched his nose, "doesnt that get boring?" Balder chuckled,"well, not if you look at it for what it really is." The pup looked out at the territory for a moment, "a bunch of grass and dirt?" Balder chuckled,"well, yes, but thats not all. this territory has been here, ruled by our ancestors for billions of years, celebrations, hunts, and deaths and births held in this very place millions of years ago, our pack was still here, as anchient as the dirt, its seen and existed alongside our ancestors, been here even before me." The pup gazed at the territory in awe, "wow..." Balder glanced down at the pup with a smile as they both admired the landscape.

after mothers passing, was in training by his father in preparation to be the next alpha. now is the second alpha of his pack.
