Ashes and Dust was a lone wolf, separated from his parents at a young age. He wandered, nameless and feral until Blood and Smoke encountered him during a patrol. They immediately felt a connection to each other, and she took him home to ask for his admittance.

Despite his feral ubpbringing, Ashes and Dust acclimated to his new pack extremely quickly. He has a loud and boisterous personality, and is often ready for a playful fight. He does have a savage side when seriously threatened, and the alphas have been hesitant to send him hunting.
Preferences
The only wolves Ashes and Dust has problems getting close to are Maria, Summer, Winter, Faded and Weary, Garnet and Quartz, Galdo, Ravine, and Decay's Embrace. Maria, Summer, and Winter are simply aloof, while Faded keeps his distance from any wolves in power. Tempest and Ruin confided his concerns about Decay and Galdo, and Ashes and Dust trusts him on these matters. Garnet and Quartz also considers Ashes and Dust weak, though she never says it to his face. Finally, Ravine is Decay's son, and therefore untrustworthy by default.
