Meza looked toward her mate Lone and shared a look of complete shock with him as the words sunk in. " We gladly accept the position of Alphas " Lone managed to say after a second, Meza nodded in agreement. " I'm glad " Rogue said in a warm tone of voice. She then ducked her head in a respectful gesture before she turned and walked toward the center of the pack. " Wolves of SilverSoul! " Rogue called, getting the pack's attention. " Your new Alphas have been chosen, Alpha Lone and his mate Alpha Meza shall now be your Alphas and rule the pack justly in bright times and dark times " she said in a firm and confident voice. The pack responded by howling congratulations or wagging their tails and trotting over to the new Alphas to congratulate them in person. Meza noticed Rogue grin warmly though also noticed a bitter sweetness to it, though the wolves of the pack were blocking her way toward her and their words soon brought her attention back to them as the pack celebrated.
