Biography
Ryker came from a strange land with a strange culture. It was not like other packs where blood and death ruled all. It was the religion that did. They were a strict pack in their beliefs, obedience and above all; their loyalty. Ambition and disloyalty was drained away from a pup at an early age; the beliefs and studies pressed on a young wolf at such an extent they were given no room to think anything else. Ryker was no different when he was born; both free and a slave just as everyone else.
As Ryker grew older he became a favorite to the leader; the Scroll Master as they called him. The leader was always male and the keeper of history. They learned every piece of information of the pack to lead on and keep them strong so as not to make the same mistakes nor let the faith stray. Ryker showed potential to be the next Scroll Master but he did not have the bloodlines to suffice such a high ranking place among the pack. So as the Scroll Master tried to decided how to bring Ryker up in the pack he continued to groom the young wolf to be the next leader.
Finally when Ryker became 2 years old the Scroll Master came up with a plan. He would mate Ryker to his only daughter; Freya to bring up his status among the pack and allow the red male to become the next Scroll Master. The Pack supported this match as most already agreed that Ryker should be the next Scroll Master. He was one of the most largest male wolves in many years to live within their pack even at a young age, and his red coat was a rarity among them. The young male wolf's personality and wisdom learned from their leader also made him much loved.
After the announcement was made of Ryker and Freya's pairing, the red brute courted Freya for the time left before they were to be mated. She was a delicate female of nearly pure white. Her fur was slightly longer and so soft it felt like silk. It flowed around her graceful body, making her almost seem to float everywhere she went. Ryker quickly fell in love with the soft spoken beauty and when the time came for them to be mated the pair was fully in love.
It was only a year later when Ryker became the Scroll Master. The previous leader had become sick and the fever he had quickly drained his strength leaving Ryker in charge. The red wolf was proud and stood tall with his beautiful mate beside him. It was not long after that Freya gave news that she was pregnant; a good sign to Ryker's leadership. The wolves among the pack rarely could get pregnant and so when it did happen there was much to celebrate. So as the wolves feasted upon a large kill in their celebration they were suddenly attacked but a brutal pack. Ryker fought fiercely for his family but it was not enough and even though their lives depended on it, he could not kill. When his mate fell dead to the fangs of a grey wolf, Ryker could stand no more. The red wolf ran.

Ryker is a very serious and deep wolf inside. He takes everything to heart as if it is all his responsibility and he can never leave a wolf that needs help behind. The red male will do everything he can to help the innocent and should he fail it eats on him for a very long time. But despite all of that he is generally a laid back type of wolf. He hates fighting; it brings back too many memories for him. So he tries his best to avoid it at all costs, pretending to be a happy go lucky type of loner. Although he does enjoy fun as it is the first time in his life he has ever gotten to experience that as a free wolf. He also enjoys friends and company but at the end of the day; Ryker rather be alone rather than to be comforted in the darkness as all of his memories return.
