Biography
With her red coat reflecting the crisp, early morning sunshine, Sandra set off, leaving her birth lands behind her, and at a at a steady pace, Sandra was ready to find a mate of her own, ready to start a new pack.
Being alone for a few days didn't phase Sandra much, she in fact found it was a way to escape her mistreated past, the past she tried not to dwell on. As Sandra continued on, she came into what she thought was an unoccupied territory. Scenting the air and finding nothing suspicious about it, Sandra settled herself down in the shade of the a willow tree, the long hanging branches, tickling the fur on her back. Letting out an sigh, Sandra bent her head and licked the tender pads on her feet. After travelling some miles, her feet had become, dry and cracked, leaving the tender. Once her feet had been tidied up, Sandra started on her fur. A she worked away at grooming herself, and picking out the burrs that had clumped in the longer parts of her fur, then, satisfied that task was completed, Sandra lay her head on her forepaws and closed her eyes, believing she would be able to get a few hours of shut eye, Sandra was about to close her eyes when another male came up behind her and gave her a nudge on her shoulder. Snapping her head to the left where she had felt the nudge, Sandra growled and pinned her ears to her head, it was the best defence she had as the wolf, who Sandra had identified as a male, was standing beside her.
"Calm down. I mean you no harm." The male simply said, watching Sandra curiously. Sandra looked at the male as she dropped the growling, but was still suspicious. "Don't come up behind me like that again" Sandra warned, as she eyed the male carefully. "Easy there, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Umbra. Lone male of the MandaJean pack." The male told her as he dipped his head in respect. Sandra returned the dip of her head and replied, still edgy, "I see...my name is Sandra from...." She said debating about whether she should tell him. "From no place special." Sandra finished anxiously. "Come along then, Sandra....allow me to show you the boarders" Umbra told her, as he went to leave, waiting for Sandra to follow. Sandra lay on the floor for a while longer, debating the offer. In the end, Sandra plucked up her courage, pulling herself to her feet and padding off after Umbra.
Sandra figured, if he was out to harm her, he would have waited until she had fallen asleep to do so, and so left her lone life behind, joining ranks with the new male, forming a strong bond with him, and creating the start of a new generation, bringing with it the joys, and tragedies of pack life.
