Saber jumped through a pile of snow, jaws snapping at the falling snow. He giggled to himself, his mismatched eyes blinking twice. The sun above him, a tiny hint of warm in the cool winter morning, set his gunmetal coat blazing. The dark patches were all that could be seen in the winter morning, the white patches blending him into the snow. "Gotcha!" Akila, his pack mate, rolled him onto his back with the sheer force of her impact. The shepherd pup's bold blue eyes were filled with laughter, and Saber play-growled back at her. "I'll get you back!" Saber called after her as the female sprinted back towards her mother, leaving Saber to play with the flakes falling down around him.
