Wind Huntress was fierce and courageous as a pup, wandering away from the den in search for adventures, and almost always being chosen for the Hunt. As heir, she fought her mother Alpha Queen Emerald Fire for the throne at age three, killing her by a bite in the neck. It is tradition to fight to death for the throne. she stumbled on her mate, Night Hunter, when she was a pup, during one of her wanders.
